This is but one of many Orisinal games that would translate exceptionally well to the Nintendo DS.
As the days get shorter, so do the starry nights get longer with the winter solstice fast approaching. Capturing the essence of these calm and peaceful nights is Ferry Halim's beautiful Starry Night. The Flash game is a work of art, and of exemplary game design.
A floating, undulating bubble follows the mouse to your task of bouncing a bright yellow star up into the heavens to light the starry night sky. Touch every star, or miss one and lose a bit from the energy bar. Touch more than one star in a single bounce for a bonus score, and a bit of energy restored. Simple and elegant.
How I would love to play Starry Night, with my DS and its stylus, out under the stars on a crisp December night, gently bouncing the yellow star up into the night sky above. Bliss.
Just wanted to say I'm so happy that so many people like Starry Night from Orisinal. I made the little tune that plays for it called,Alone In Winter. Ferry matched it up with the perfect game. His games continue to inspire me. Hope you like the tune as well as the many others do. Thanks, Tom
I think that this game is really cool!!! I had alot of fun playing it. But how come there aren't levels?
usually orisinal games dont have "levels" with a few exceptions like the tea one. this is a great game.
I don't really like this game...Its too hard for me.
That is a pretty cool game... I just wish that people would stop saying that every game which uses drawing or cursor control would be perfect on the Nintendo DS. It plays just fine on the PC with a mouse.
David - have you actually played with a DS? It would seem not to be the case.
While a mouse for input works well, it just can't beat the precision of using a stylus on a touch screen like the DS has. Moreover, a DS is portable so taking casual games like this on-the-go eclipses your PC and mouse set-up.
Ahhh.. the music sounds so bubbly.. I love it!!
great! an orisinal game. my personal best is 1630. the music is great, too.
Yes indeed it is a great and wonderful game. (: May I know the title of the music? It's just so addictive! (:
Wow! Thomas Carty, you wrote that song? Do you have a download for sale, or will you give it to me free? I love the song!
I would love to have that song as well! I can't find Thomas Carty's email anywhere, so I am asking here. Please get back to me! Thank you :)
