BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK! BONK!
- Colour My Heart - A short, atmospheric platformer with a cuddly message of love. AWWW! Try clicking on various objects for some fun animation surprises.
- The Black Yeti - Much less cuddly than the previous game, this creative title puts you in control of a cave-dwelling yeti out to capture curious humans. But what's this mysterious color-changing thing with your furry coat?!
- That Dam Game - There's a crack in the dam and water is about to burst and flood the village! Armed with a catapult and tons of stuff to load into the catapult, run back and forth gathering items and setting your shots to the right power. Lighter objects (apples) need less power, while heavy things (cows, people) need more. Fun!
- Through Walls - A great puzzle game of spatial orientation, you must rotate a set of blocks in the foreground to match the "hole" in the wall in the distance. Tap the [spacebar] to see if it fits through!
- Break the Habit - Stop eating junk food, thinking bad thoughts, and depriving yourself of sleep! Instead, play this game where you complete three arcade-style challenges simultaneously to keep our hapless hero healthy and happy. And if you were expecting a game about smashing nun-related clothing, sorry to disappoint!
Black Yeti was AWESOME, although, I think they could have tweaked the sight system just a bit so it was a little more logical. There were some points where it was just confusing whether you were supposed to be seen or not. Other than that, i really loved the concept.
Does anyone know how to beat the level with all the white granite? (I think its the last level)
btw, the fourth level (that has just one guy) is beaten by going down until the man sees you, then going left, then eating the guy.
Through Walls reminded me of the DAT. (shudders)
Someone plays TF2
BONK BONK!
Black Yeti - nice idea, could be developed into a good game.
Dam Game and Break The Habit - poorly implemented.
Through Walls - actually quite fun, although rotating the blocks felt a bit awkward. It reminded of this TV show, which made me smile.
I loved the atmosphere of Colour My Heart, and great detail in the scenery. There's no deep and meaningful message, but it is cute.
21 bonks? I'll never understand this community.
BONK?
(Screen Shot)
I played that game!
Why don't you come over here and say that to my face! BONK!
A literary masterpiece of a LDF.
Looks like someone just got the scout update.
BONK! BONK!
this black yeti game ramps in difficulty like crazy. love the song too.
Glad to see some more TF2 fans! :-D BONK! is the single most frustrating update to the game. Nothing like going about your business when suddenly you're stunned for several seconds. A scout should not be able to take down a heavy, merely stun him and run away. So yeah, there's my tribute to the annoyance. :-)
jimbog: That's EXACTLY what I thought when I first played Through Walls! Not nearly as wacky as the Japanese version of the show, but still made me grin.
Just finished Black Yeti. Not a difficult game, and a great concept, but I found myself winning mostly by trial and error. I just couldn't figure out the logic of what colour I needed to be and when. Really interesting idea though, and wonderful retro style.
NEED A DIS- oh wait, is there some possible relation between all the games? They aren't all about running/jumping/throwing; nor is violence necessary... Hm...
Anyway, Colour My Heart actively encourages a reaction of "Aww...". It was apparently made for/on Valentine's Day. (For a second there, I thought it would end up as a disenfranchised story of heartbreak. *whew*) What about Through Walls? It looks to be mainly a guessing game to me. Is there a different appeal to it, or will I just have to try it and see?
(Oh, OverZealos? I never played it, but I like what I've seen of it!)
The hosting site for Break the Habit is broken on Firefox, and somehow refreshes advertisements with EVERY SINGLE CLICK, which can slow down the game itself, making it impossible to play.
The message people take away from this is that keeping healthy is incredibly frustrating, and in fact impossible on certain platforms.
does anyone understand black yeti, and if so could they explain it to me?
I might have liked "Colour My Heart" if it had a save feature. I got tired of having to start over anytime I made a mistake.
Where did you get stuck in "colour my heart" ?
I really enjoyed playing it and loved the whole concept and the music. The art was really pretty too.
One part was rather hard to figure out but it turned out ok.
actually the last BONK! should have been CHONK! sorry for the error
The Black Yeti is short, and I think part of the fun is figuring out how the mechanic works, so I'll put it in a spoiler:
The goal is just to walk up to the people (and eat them) without them seeing you. You can't be seen when the you 'blend in' with the background. That's why you were fine in the all-black cave with black fur.
Most of the game you're white on one side and black on the other. The idea is to make sure that when a person can see you, the side of you they see is the color of the wall behind you
I couldn't even figure out how to restart in Colour My Heart, and it took even longer to realize how to interact with stuff in the game. That and the graphics would sometimes keep shaking, which gave me a headache.
Actually, you cannot be "stuck" in Colour my Heart ( or so I think).
At the moment where you
go on the thing that makes you go higher ( like an air elevator). You are almost at the end and you just need to turn on the electricity to open the way up.
Sorry for double posting. You can find the very nice song of "Colour my Heart" here:
