Threes and 2048, there's a new logic game sweeping over our phones and browsers. Logical Cell brings us their new creation, Concentric Holic. Eliminate the color squares by placing the matching colors next to them. Once a layer of the square is removed the next color layer is active setting off a chain reaction. The premise sounds simple enough but it's anything but when you find chain reactions you didn't even spot tearing through your colors and leaving you stuck. All I can say is thank goodness for the Undo button.
Play a few levels and you'll find the only thing that will stop you from continuing is the lack of a solution, and even those who might not think logic is their thing will find themselves struggling to put this down. The undo button is a necessity as once you place a block you can't move it, which will lead to some frustrations as the desire to just slide it over to a new spot is great. It also increases difficulty, since it will remove the last block you placed. So in order to move one block, you may have to take off three before it, ruining your mental pattern. Still, the simplistic design and the amount of mental work it will take to get through the levels makes it all worth it and more. Pull on your sweat bands because this mental work out will get your brain into shape.
Stuck on level 8 I get stuck no matter what combo or order I go in.
Joe Gordon:
The 2-layer one in the middle.
Wait for combo to finish.
The 4-layer one in the middle.
The 3-layer one on top.
Wait for combo to finish.
The 1-layer one in the middle.
I like this game. Though level 8 did get me for a bit because I can't see the difference between the innermost two layers of the 4-layer one, or the two layers of the one initially on the left.
So stuck on stage 11 :(
This could use a browser tag. I nearly missed it as I thought it was android only.
Thanks for the heads up! Didn't realize I missed it. =)
Ruth, right there with you. I think it comes down to making a list of the possible combinations in terms of the order you put the boxes up and where.
I got 11 in the end by thinking through how many 2s and 3s there needed to be of each colour. But then immediately got stuck on 12.
For 12, you want to set off a chain reaction that is going to clear the level all in one move.
The odd piece out (with only three rings) piece is your trigger for the chain reaction and is put in last. It will go in the first column, second space down (next to the existing piece with three rings). Going anti-clockwise around the ring, put in each piece whose outer color is the second color of the preceding block.
Im so stuck on level 11
For 11, the key is the getting the yellow rings to match up.
I used the three blocks with green outer rings first, activating all three at once with the one containing a yellow ring in the middle. Then you should be left with just a yellow ring in one square and a blue ring with a red ring in a neighboring square.
Put the remaining block with the yellow ring in it next to the yellow ring, and drop in the last one to clear the rest.
