Blosics 2
Do you hate blocks? Sure you do. Look at them, sitting up there... judging you... laughing at you... not knocked down for points and fun... who do they think they are?! Well, in this snappy physics puzzle game you can give them their comeuppance! Blosics is back with a sequel, and it's bigger and better than ever.

What a horrible game.
It's completely ruined by interlevel ads.
Seriuosly, why would you want to bother the players with an interlevel ad after first level already, and then require 2 clicks at the end of each level, because you attempt to load an interlevel ad after every single level.
That alone is enough to ruing the game.
I liked the fist one a great deal, the way you managed the size/cost of your shot was much cooler than this method. Also, I don't like the "only one way" levels where you have to have a perfect shot without any other options.
Level 14
Lame. You have to unlock a new ball by fulfilling challenges. It's impossible with the standard balls, methinks.
for lvl 14 challenge
Lightly toss an explosive ball over the exploding block so it lands behind the greenies and blows them all off
Now I'm working on 21 and scratching my head about the challenge.
Also, does anyone know how to get the challenge on lvl 6?
BTW, I recommend going for the challenges because they open new balls (see 'unlockables' on the menu screen).
It's a very nice game though suffers from the same design flaw as the old one for some levels: you basically need to try again and again til you're lucky enough to hit some certain spot. And often times, though you might have a good guess at what these spots are, there's no real way to guarantee that you'll even get 20% success rate on them even after you've already beaten it before.
Particular offenders: 7, 12, 16, 17, 21!! (the one diego was talking about)
It also appears to suffer from some bad memory leaks. Another error is that if you replay a level and finish it without the challenge, it'll not count it in the total challenges shown on the level select screen even if you already beaten the challenge before. Also if you're fast, it is possible that you click the next button as some reds are counted thus getting a score below 100.
Bloatedsack: lvl 6 challenge
use 10 to hit the exact centers of the red blocks adjacent to the center. with good aim/luck, you'll hit them off to land on the sides.
Quite a few challenges cannot be completed without the unlockables. The "smart" bomb is especially useful.
Note about 30 since I'm sure it'll probably stump some of you.
The blocks are acting if they are under the frozen unlockable. if you hit them/affect (bombs/disruption), the blocks and any block they are touching, will regain their sense of gravity. The trick is to barely scratch them so they fall down without touching the reds. You'll need an explosive for the farthest one though. Disintegrating the nearest red stacks helps a lot. Don't forget you can freeze them again if you have the unlockable.
Blosics 2 Walkthrough (kinda)

Here I list the steps to complete all the challenges.
-
Note that the strategies here are not the only way to pass the challenge, but one that I used and works.
-
Descriptions are usually as such: [ball type] from [compass direction (indicates where your ball should start)], [angle]. If no direction, it does not matter where your ball starts though closest point from orange circle usually works. If there is no comment regarding power, it's at full strength.
1-10:
-
: hope you don't need help here.
-
: hope you don't need help here.
-
30 from bottom center row, horizontally tilted slightly up.
-
20 from nw, target middle of green's side.
-
30 from sw, horizontal.
-
10 from center, targeting center of red lines adjacent to the center one.
-
difficult with normal balls. Simple with remote (2nd unlockable).
10, target bottom row half strength (hit and miss strategy)
OR remote, lightly over the green stack then have it explode. -
Use 5s. Ruler might help
-
explode (or 30 if not available), second row from bottom. Luck to see if they get stuck or not.
-
Difficult. Two good ways to hit green stack:
-
Very N, aim perfectly horizontal. Should hit 2nd row after it loops.
-
ne, aim very slightly north from ne. Should hit the side coming down.
Besides not explosive, your choice of balls. Note that total green points is 170.
-
11-20
-
Difficult. 15' west of north, angled so it crosses center. Use 5 to find spot, use 20 for real.
-
Difficult. Many choices here. I used 20 from very n, angled upper right, where the red barely obscures the rotating rings.
-
Try to go over column so it hits the green at either the top or very bottom. Remote ball works best, but any will do once you find the right str to send it over.
-
Send remote barely over explosive. My method was from nw, angled nnw, 1/3 str.
-
Go wild. Note only 140 points from green.
-
Extremely difficult. Only 144 points from green. Best hope is to use remote on bottom row, slightly below full power, then explode when it's mostly down.
-
Extremely difficult. Need fast reflexes. 10 from ssw/sse, aim at center of sides of the green stacks. Fire at one, then the other.
-
Remote, fire at 2nd bottom row horizontally, explode at center. 30 can work, but you'll need to push most of the bottom green row for enough points.
-
Explode from e, aim e at platform. Use remote to finish leftovers (arc over the pile then explode from the east).
-
Extremely difficult. One method is to hit the right stack of balloon blocks so they cover that hole then explode the brick, but the balloons often can't hold against all the reds. (bounce back from the left side for best results.) Alternative I found was to fire a ball over the red stack, then hitting the green without triggering the explosion, though very difficult to find right spot. Note only 160 points from green.
21-30
-
Aim at bottom/second bottom row, then pray. Remote might work better than explode if you use it at the center. Note that balloons can only lift about 2-3 stacks of green, otherwise it'll be too heavy, so it's best to spread it evenly rather than all on the right.
-
Fairly simple. Just guess and check. 5 is enough, though 10 works better.
-
Either use 10/20 to knock out rows then pray, or arc over the red stack with a disintegrate and remove them entirely. Note only 175 points from green.
-
5, try to get it aligned perfectly horizontal to the greens center then launch it perfectly horizontally. If done correctly, should barely affect other blocks.
-
5 to hit explosives, 20/30 to hit white bar into place. Just work on timing.
-
It's lvl 8, but worse. Have fun.
-
5 from s, aim at slightly above center of explosive
-
5. It's like shooting skeet. Fire one to send some blocks down. Use 5's to knock green ones out as they fall.
-
Return of the Revenge of lvl 8! I used 5 from N, aimed horizontally but very slightly slanted up.
-

That's it! If you've managed all that, you'll get the
vortex ball, which though fun to watch, is actually not an autowin, but does help get some higher scores on some levels. Use freeze to allow to position where the hole with much greater accuracy. Remember you need to hit something before it starts up, but freezing doesn't stop it from charging.
I really enjoyed this game till level 14. I know what I need to do and I've gotten very close a few times, but the fact that I cannot reproduce my prior move with any accuracy is driving me nutters. I'm using the orange rings to line up my shots and what can look like two identical moves to my naked eye, are not.
Not too bad a game - physics-y-ness makes it fun, but also annoying when you can't reproduce a shot you just took. Beat the game and got all the unlockables (beat all the challenges) without needing help on more than 2 or 3 levels. I beat a large number of the challenges my first time through each level because I played with that as my goal from the start (so I wouldn't have to play the game over again).
Fun. I just wasted too much time on that.
But I ended up getting all of the challenges. Woo.
The most annoying challenge is level 21. My "solution":
Launch 3-5 blocks with a 5-point ball. Go do something else for about 2 minutes. Shoot some more blocks. Take another break. Repeat until all blocks eliminated.
Don't be impatient, because the blocks [i]will[/i] eventually fall. You need to average 3-4 blocks per hit, or the blocks won't add up to enough points to overcome the cost of the shots.
(Which is pretty much what JIGuest said, except for the taking a break part.)
OK, not sure who is still checking in at this late hour but I can help with some of them. First, lvl 21, the balloon one
you need to have passed enough challenges to have the exploding-on-command ball. Launch it gently at the slanted ramp above the green blocks. It will fall on to the green blocks and roll slowly over the edge. You need to get lucky for the balloons to push it to the small ledge at the bottom right of the green block "block" and then trigger the bomb. There should be five or so left, for these take the #5 or #10 and knock them off and wait.
For Fourteen,
again, use the triggerable bomb, launch it over the exploding block gently and when it lands trigger it and you will get all of them.
BTW- To determine what a particular level's challenges are click the "challenge" label and it will explain. Do all of them as some of the later challenges are ridiculous or even impossible if you do not have the unlockables.
Oh, and on 20.
notice that the sides are rubber, not the normal sides. Take a #10 and bounce it off the left wall and push the balloons to the right, might have to do it twice. When the balloons are about to start going past the right ledge and up trigger the exploding square with a #5. The balloons will bock the red squares while the green are free to fall. May take a couple of tries to get timing right but when done right the red will not be able to fall at all.
Huge improvement on the original; enjoyed this very much.
I'm starting to grow weary of generic puzzle-game graphics, though. It isn't anything against this game in particular, but I'm starting to notice a distinct trend and lack of imagination when it comes to the visual style of physics-based puzzles.
The ad break after each level isn't even the most annoying part of this game. There's the random levels that require complete luck, and the UI that actively interferes with the basic gameplay. Trying to change power or aim in some directions was frustrating. I can't decide if it's worse that that was intentional or the designer just didn't care.
Maybe next they can design a billiards game where you have to avoid drunk people while making your shot.
As for Level 21 (probably the worst), I had some success with
Multiple 10 & 20 shots. Though I think there's only 160 or so to get, so you can't take that many. Knocking just a few blocks into the blender at a time can be easier than hoping your explosion works out.
Level 16 also has an alternate solution if you have an unlockable:
Using a remote, fire it over the column and detonate it on the other side. Getting this right is not at all easy, but once you do, all the block will go out easily.
I have to agree with those that are a bit chagrined about having to use perfect shots to get through some levels, but all in all, I really enjoyed this game.
As for the advertising between levels, who cares?!? Click "Next" and it's gone! I don't understand why it "ruing"s the game. It helps the developer get a bit of compensation for all their hard work and you get to enjoy the result of their efforts for FREE!
The quickest way I found for level 21:
Take a remote explosive ball, let it roll slowly across the top of the blocks, wait for it to drop and detonate it as close to the foot of the stack as possible (slow roll is the key). Use a 10 to get the remaining blocks into the balloon pit, go have lunch and when you come back, it should be done!
I only figured out that I could actually choose another ball size when I finished my 15th challenge. That means, everything up to level 23 can be done with the small ball ;)
From then it's quite fun.
The clear sky without game elements: it appears when you break something in your user data (e.g. start a second vortex ball while the first still sucks). There's a button which resets your data.
Level 20 one ball, no reds lost: Bounce a remote bomb from the left rubber pad and trigger it to explode right next to balloons on the left. This will send all the balloons to the right to hold up the reds, and concurrently explode the other bomb which sends the green ones off to the left. If you send it with a lot of power so the bomb pushes then explodes the balloons, almost guaranteed no reds lost.
Level 30 is incredible....
for my solution check the spoiler...
use a dissovling bomb to eliminate the red stack to the left, do it again for the next stack & the next (if one of the bombs dislodges the adjacent stack freeze frame it - this might be a blessing in disguise as you might be able to now do two stacks with one dissolving bomb). now launch a push button bomb to the tight right of the green blocks - about midway up their side. they will all get blown free of the remaining reds on the bottom right
i found this way easier to solve the level 30 challenge
I found that the easiest way for solving the challenge on 30 is if you got axes to freeze button launch a disintegrator on the reds on the right side detonate it to disintegrate as many blocks as possible then re freeze any falling red blocks. then launch a normal explosive on the left most green block. in this way i got it on the second try
I'm stuck on 14.
not really spiler buuttt:
No matter what I do I can't knock off the explosive box without it blowing up.
&& I'm really confused because it (for whatever reason) unlocked the Freeze Button and Vortex Ball, but not the Explosive ball, Remote EB, or the Disintegrator ball. So i can't use the Explosive Ball, and the Vortex Ball doesn't work.
For level 28:
If you've gotten enough challenges done, you'll have earned "F" - "freeze". Use the 5-pt ball to knock some blocks down. When you have a clear shot of some green blocks, press "F" - everything will freeze in place until it gets hit (by the ball or another block). Makes the level MUCH easier.
