If you had a burning passion to cut up fruit for sheer pleasure, then why not give slicing up quadrilateral shapes a go in Gaz Thomas's new physics puzzle game, 3 Slices 2. As a sequel to the well received 3 Slices, you need to trim out a certain percentage of the red and blue blocks off the screen in a total of three, count 'em, THREE swipes. You chop apart the blocks by clicking and dragging a line across the polygons while physics handles the rest. Watch them slide, tumble, and float off screen to fulfill your goal as your decisive slices can go from careful, puzzle gaming success to a hack 'n' slash failure fest.
The cozy, casual sequel contains another twenty levels of puzzle action that will hinder even the best puzzle solvers. With no repeated puzzles from the first game, players can expect an exciting experience that you will surely appreciate. Not only will red blocks fall down under gravity's weight, but blue blocks defy gravity and float up to bring more complexity to these tough puzzles. A second play-through for 100% gold target percentages on every level will lead to more brain strain and replay ability. The enjoyable gameplay everyone liked from before, such as secret 1900% clear rate challenge, is still there but updated with new obstacles to keep both your attention and the game from going stale. When you need to cut yourself a break from your busy day, give this pleasant puzzler a look.
I've enjoyed every entry in this series, and this is the best to date. Nicely done Gaz!
Stuck on level 17.
Cyberjar88,
I was able to solve 17 by cutting two vertical strips at the sides of the large white square. Make sure they're thin enough to fall down the sides. The first will clear a path for the blue block. The weight of the second strip turned the blue block vertically and pushed it out the first hole. Here's a screenshot.
Finally beat 18!
Cut a slice out of the upper white block just wide enough to drop through the slot and dislodge the blue one. Then
use a wedge of the white block in the lower left to knock the white slice into the blue slice and push it free
"With no repeated puzzles from the first game"

Yeah, there are.
And stuck on level 15.
Anybody get level 19? I can only get 99%.
Scratch that. Power of the Post strikes again.
Anyone has a 100% solution on level #5? That's the only one I'm stuck at 96% - and frankly, I don't see how that could be done... It's easy to get the required 80% there, I'd just like to know if there's actually a 100% solution.
I like this one, BTW, it's easier than the first installment was, but not too easy not to be fun.

@bio: It is possible to get 100% on level 5 in both 3 and 2 slice mode. I used to think it needed a lot of luck but I've got a new way now that I can do every time.
Here's a hint:
Experiment with 1 shape first. There is a way to slice them that makes the whole shape fall off without leaving a bit behind. When you've mastered that use it on all 3 shapes.
Gaz,
thanks for the hint!
TBH, I don't see how I could make the whole of any of the three shapes disappear with one cut... but I'll keep trying :)
BTW, the method you mentioned is good only for the 3 cut mode. How can it be possible in 2 cut mode???

I finally beat 1 slice mode, 1554%. I hit the reset key so many times. I was also reminded of this definition of insanity: "repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results".
how do u pass lvl 5?
@dor.nadler
I struggled with level 5 too until I remembered that the blue squares fall up instead of down. You just have to get enough of the square on top of it off.
Can't get a gold rating on level 18 in 1 slice mode
I just finished one slice mode with all gold and 1658 pts. I think I'm done!
For 18
Try starting the slice at the top left corner of the left black square and experiment with angles. I got 62% of the blue cube off that way. The slower the cube is moving, the better.
My question is .. Is it possible to get 100% on level 20 with 1 slice? I have 58 right now ..
3 slice mode ... 2000%
2 slice mode ... 2000%
1 slice mode ... 1756% (lvl.1-13=100% , lvl.14=32%, lvl 15=60%, lvl.16=100%, lvl.17=37%, lvl.18=69%, lvl.19=100%, lvl.20=58%)
Stuck at level 18! Can anybody help?
