A Matter of Caos - Episode 4
To say the least, things have certainly become caotic--err, chaotic, pardon me, in the fourth and final episode of the series A Matter of Caos. After falling in love with a so-named "Lucky Guy," Daphne discovers his history is not exactly squeaky-clean. Bestowed with the promise that everything will be sorted out once he can finish this one last job that cannot be abandoned part way through, she agrees to help him out. She goes so far as to accept a couple objects that he needs to be hidden, along with a very important artefact - the Heart of Caos. You begin once again assuming the role of Mr. Gilbert, tentacled private eye extraordinaire, tending to Daphne in the heart of a crypt.
Interaction is performed by clicking small square pictures scattered throughout the screen, and with a panel of objects near the bottom. Sometimes you will need to use one object on another to combine them, or an object on one of the pictures to progress. In the corner of the screen you will find Mr. Gilbert's eye, useful to examine objects, along with a notebook to help keep track of the increasing number of twists and information about the characters.
Players of the first three episodes, reviewed some time ago right here on JayisGames, will enjoy a special affinity with the sort of interaction in the scenes. There are no frustrating pixel hunts to be had here, as all hotspots are laid out and highlighted clearly. The only downside is that of slightly breaking the atmosphere - but worry not, the weaving narrative ladled out paragraphs at a time will draw you right back in. You will keep moving as locations become blocked, flee what feels like half the city out to murder you and your friends, and discover new locations along the way. It is strongly recommended to start at the first episode if you haven't played yet. If it's been a while, episode 4 does offer you a quick recap.

Well found out the hard way. If you get something out of order you cannot complete the game.
Don't use the LBB ring on the elevator. You need to give the ring to Mick the blade. Then he leaves and game continues. Otherwise you have no proof and the elevator won't move until you convince Mick to help you. I assume that now that Mick has the LBB ring maybe he uses it on the elevator? What other item to use in place of a fuse for the elevator, I don't know. Just don't use the LBB ring.
I invested way too much time to start over. That's just beans.
