Alice House No. 6: A Mad Tea Party

Things get a little mad in Funkyland's latest escape game Alice House No. 6: A Mad Tea-Party, where to find your way out of this festooned room you'll need to find five Mad Hatter-themed items. As usual, there's no changing cursor to show you what you can interact with, so you'll have to poke and prod while you explore. Once again it's on the short side, with a nice balance of deciphering clues and using items to get you through the puzzles, but if you want an escape that a little bit weird and a lot bit festive, pull up a chair and enjoy. Just don't sit on the Dormouse.

Walkthrough Guide

(Please allow page to fully load for spoiler tags to be functional.)

Super cute as always from FunkyLand! Here's a walkthrough.

Click on the right-hand end of the table. There's a teacup and a bowl of soup you can zoom in on to the left, and a little clock to the right. Click on the top hat to zoom in. Check out that piece of paper, it says MILK, but has lots of extra letters floating around. Zoom out to the starting view.

Click on the middle of the table to zoom in there. Click on the red tea cannister, and click on it again to flip it over. There's a green clock hand with a pink number 15. Zoom out and click on the pile of plates to the right of the flower vase. Click a few times to find the first part of our tea set! Zoom back out to the starting view.

Now, zoom in on the left-hand end of the table. Grab the napkin in the bottom right corner of the screen. Click on the sugar pot next to the purple tea cannister, then click on the lid. A pink clock hand, and a green 30. We can solve the little clock puzzle now! Zoom back out.

Go back to the right-hand end of the table and zoom in on the little clock. Put the hands on the clock, and now just use the buttons to adjust the hands to where they should be. Remember, pink=15 and green=30.

This means the pink hand wants to be on 3, the green on 6.

Press the white button to open it up, and grab the teacup. Second part of our tea set! Now, zoom in on the bowl of soup, and put your napkin in it (of course). A big clock face with the word MARCH will appear, take note of the fact that there's a black dot under the clock. Zoom back out to the start.

Okay, now go to the left wall. There's a little bunny cupboard next to the door, click on it to zoom in and open it up. There's a bunch of coloured buttons, and the words MARCH=3 at the top. Take note of that! Zoom out. There's a circular board on the other side of the door that says Mad Tea, and wants an input of letters. There is a clue on the other side of the room for this, but for English speakers I think this is quite an obvious puzzle. The answer is of course, PARTY. So press the letters in the right order, and press OK. When you hear the noise, press on the circle again, it'll swivel slightly and you can grab the third part of our tea set. Zoom back out to the start.

Click on the back wall where the windows are. There are two little tables. The one of the left has a house with bunny ears, which seems to be locked. The right table has a little box on it that says MILK. This is where the clue on the top hat comes in handy. All you have to do is count how many M's, I's, L's and K's are on the piece of paper. This will give you the code!

It's 3742

Open the box and get the bunny key. You can now go and unlock the little bunny house and get the teaspoon. Only one more piece to go now!

So, finally, click on the right wall. Here, you'll see the clue to the Mad Tea Party puzzle we already solved, but there's also a giant clock with one hand. Look familiar? This is the clock that appeared on our soup napkin. It has a little circular slot at the bottom for some kind of button. Remember the clues? MARCH=3 and the black dot? We need to back to the bunny box by the door on the left wall.

Click on the left wall and go to the bunny box. We need to grab the right coloured button.

The napkin told us it was black.

Return to the clock on the right wall, and put the button in its place under the clock. Now you can move the clock hand! So, the clue is MARCH=3, so put the clock hand on 3 (just click it to move it). Be careful though, the clock numbers are offset slightly, so it starts at 1 not 12. Once you've set the clock to 3, a little drawer will open under the clock with the final piece we need! You now have the key to the door on the left door.

Hurray you win!

As usual, short, quirky and sweet.

Okay, I'm out. But I have no idea

What that white piece of paper in my inventory was for. I never used it. Did it have something to do with the March = 3 clue and different colored buttons? I just kept using each button until one worked in opening the time piece on the wall with the hand set to three.

can't wait for the walkthrough to this.

If you drop the paper in tea (the cup next to the watch on the table), it tells you which button to use, and confirms that March=3 relates to the wall clock.

Anyone else having trouble loading the game? I've played all the other ones before, but for some reason I can't even get a loading window on this one!

For those who mentioned the

March = 3 clue

, where did you see it?

I played through twice and did not see it.

They have changed to puzzle.

The piece of paper that you place in the "soup"/"tea" no longer has the clock with the word march on it. It now has bunny paw prints and an arrow pointing away from the viewer.

The bunny box has also changed. You now have bunny paw buttons to push, but I can't make the

sequence on the paper

and the button pushing sequence yield any results.

Any help would be appreciated.

David, you must have the same new puzzle I do. Help me figure out the bunny box sequence, please. The clue has me stumped.

It took me a very long time to figure out the bunny paws...

The arrow indicates reading from the bottom up.

The sequence, then, is: L R L R R L
