Button Escape 25

Tototo Room's Button Escape 25 is a single-scene escape game, but there's a whole lot going on in it, with codes to crack and locks to open, not to mention the eleven buttons to find and click scattered throughout. There's no changing cursor, so you'll just have to click everywhere you think you can interact with, and even try using some objects in the scenery multiple times. To check something out in your inventory, simply click it once to highlight it as though you were going to try using it, then click it again. The trickiest part will probably come down to spotting codes and then deciphering them without also overthinking them, but if you want something equal parts weird and cute that won't take up a whole coffee (or cup of noodle) break, this is the game for you.

I have all but three buttons pressed. I'm still missing the deep sea key, both 4 digit codes, three button code, and exact fit item. I have

a big white thing in the decompressor, but I can't get it out

Reply

Konrad,
I'm down to four so I'm not further than you but

have you figured out the "Knock" clue? I've tried knocking on the door 5 times but I get nothing. There's also a "Knock" = some chinese writing? clue that I don't get. Have you cracked that one?

Reply

Nevermind, I got it,

I guess I wasn't knocking fast enough

Reply

Konrad,

If you've gotten the knock clue and opened that door, you get an item that works with the decrompessor, which in turn gives you a four digit code. The rest from there is easy.

@mark0205
How do you get the thing out of the decompressor?

Nevermind, I didn't realize those were numbers.

Definitely the weirdest part was

getting the code from the... bun? I had the same problem as Konrad in that I didn't think those were the numbers. But they are!

I do like the Button Escapes though, they're always fun!

Reply

wow that was quick. seems like just a couple of days ago for the weekday escape we had a button escape now we have another one. anyway,i can't wait for the walkthrough for this one.

Reply

Ok I have 1 button and the 3 number code left. Any hints for the 3 number code? I saw "on mouse hint!" but idk what that is suggesting.

Reply

Oops nevermind! I didn't know that I was supposed to

put the cup of noodles into the pressurizer

Puzzles

Right-hand round door

Examine the door for a hint.

Big fish facing left, big fish facing right, small fish facing left, small fish facing right.

Zoom out and find the picture that corresponds to the hint.

It's the fish picture.

Dark red, yellow, pink, orange

Set the colors of the buttons according to the hints.
Colorblind:

6 clicks, 3 clicks, 5 clicks, 4 clicks.

Get the key and note the hexagonal clue.

Bell-shaped container

Get the key from the right-hand round door.

Hexagonal door

The hint is behind the right-hand round door.

Knock five times (in fairly quick succession).

Get the ... whatever that white knob-like thing is, and notice the mouse.

Left-hand round door

You'll be torturing a dumpling for this. :)

Get a dumpling from the bowl (right end of the table). Notice that it has something written on it, but it's too small to read. How could you make the dumpling bigger?

Put the dumpling into the decompressor (top shelf on the left), then use the white knob that you found behind the hexagonal door to pump the air out.

The code is now readable, so use it on the left-hand round door.

Don't believe me? Those are four numbers in a single rectangle, not five squares with little blips in the corners.

The code is 1111. Annoying, ain't it?

Get the wheel.

"Deep Sea" picture

Use the wheel from the left-hand round door on the pressurizer. Get the key. Use the key to open the picture.

Red box

The clue is behind the Deep Sea picture.

The characters in the middle of the picture's back are rather ineffectively disguised numbers: 2843.

Get the Cup O'Noodles.

"Oh! Exact fit!" picture

The cup o'noodles is the right shape, but it's too big to fit in the indentation. Perhaps you could compress it somehow?

Put the noodles into the pressurizer, then examine the three buttons on the right. How convenient: the code is written right above the buttons.

LCRLRCL

Wait until the machine finishes, then take the shrunken cup.

Put the cup into the indentation on the picture.

Lost count of the amount of times I had to restart due to putting the white thing into the decompressor first.

Game really should allow you to remove lid after you insert that. As well as before.

Reply

It does allow you.

Just click the decompressor with the dumpling and it'll open right up, regardless of whether you've put the plunger in place or not.
