Oh, the weather outside is frightful, so naturally, ten little chicks have decided to get nice and toasty inside on this holiday eve. But you've got a big night ahead of you, and it looks like you won't be able to leave until you collect all ten of them. Yuri presents an escape Christmas game special in Chick Hide and Seek 14. In order to escape, search out and click on all ten chicks, some of whom are chilling in obvious view, while others are hiding behind objects or else won't make themselves appear until you solve their puzzles. Those who have played earlier installments of the series will generally know what they're in for: spunky puzzle design and a sense of warm sweetness permeating the experience, balanced out by an interface that may require a lot of random pecking of the halls to puzzle what can and cannot be interacted with. But overall, Chick Hide and Seek 14 has an comforting familiarity to it, like a Christmas card from an old friend or a favorite sweater, and will make a quite nice companion to an afternoon cocoa break.

Chick Hide and Seek 14 Walkthrough
At the starting view, click the snowman to zoom in. Click his hat to uncover the chick underneath (1/10)
Click the white cloth bag leaning against the snowman to pick it up. Back away from the snowman. Click the present on the shelf to pick it up. Head right. Click the chick sitting on the rug (2/10)
Head right again. Click the present on the mantle to pick it up. Click the table to zoom in on it. Click the right side of the hanging table cloth to uncover another chick under the table. (3/10)
While still zoomed in, click the metal plate-cover to collect it. Click the top of the box to uncover the cake. Take the 100 yen coin next to the cake. Click the box cover to reveal the chick hiding inside. (4/10)
Back away from the table. Use the metal plate-cover on the fire. A chick and a scarf will appear. Collect both of them. (5/10)
Head right again. Click the window to zoom in, and pick up the piece of paper lying on the sill. Back away then click the top of the Christmas tree to zoom in. Click the star to remove it, and uncover a chick. (6/10)
Back away from the tree, then head right, then right again. Click the slot on the wall to the left to zoom in. Use the 100 yen coin on the slot. A chick will be deposited. (7/10)
Back away from the dispenser. Click the vanity to examine it, then click the bottom shelf. You'll need to enter a code on these two buttons to open the drawer. Look on the paper that you picked up from the window. This will tell you the code: Left, Right, Right, Left, Right Right, then the enter button. The drawer will click. You can open it to reveal another chick. (8/10)
Click the bottom drawer again, and you'll reveal a series of colors: yellow, green, red, yellow, blue, green. These correspond to the position of the ornaments hanging from the top of the vanity: 1-Blue, 2-Yellow, 3-Green, 4-Red. Click the top draw of the vanity and enter the color code to open it. The order will be (numbering from the top down) 2-3-4-2-1-3-Enter. The door will click, letting you open it and revealing one last present and a chick (9/10)
Back away from the vanity. Head right, then right again, until you are in front of the sleigh. Click the bag in your inventory, then the magnifying glass to examine it. Click each present then put them in the bag, then click and use the scarf to tie the bag up. Close the inventory, and place the bag in the sleigh, revealing the final chick. (10/10)
With all ten chicks collected, they'll form into a group. Click the group several times and, through the magic of Christmas, the door will unlock! Congratulations!
