Craig is your average potions maker. This timid and fretful fellow overthinks most things, but when he wakes up one day to find that his door has been blocked by some hooligans, he can't overthink enough to find a way out. Craig by Pai is a free indie game that's more of an escape the room style game. Pai's game only encompasses two screens, but has enough witty remarks and clever adventuring it stands strong even with its shorter length. Moving with the [arrow] keys and examining items with the [spacebar], you are given a list of options on how to interact with said object. You can also double-click to move and right-click (or use [ESC]) to gain access to the menu where you can view the items you have picked up. Make sure you explore everything, not just for winning the game, but enjoying the humor that makes Craig the warm game it is.
Craig is sort of a pseudo-demo where Pai was testing out the game functions and getting a feel for the process. While there is a big chance it will be expanded, Craig is still a complete game for all of your enjoyment, and with a main character who has the personality that makes you wonder if you can keep humans as pets, you're sure to fall in love with all of it. One important thing that might make your falling for it slow down is some areas that need to be examined can be easily missed, but keep in mind that some objects may have more than one interaction if you approach them from different sides or places. Another thing to note is when a "?" shows in your options that means that you need to find something or learn something to fill the option with another action. This warmhearted game is sure to put a smile on your face while yet being a challenging puzzle to solve. And you better hurry... time is money and Craig needs to get into his shop before he's too late.

To make the potion:
First find all the ingredients. Fill the empty bottle with water. Place the water and 4 ingredients on the left side of the desk. When you place the last items, you will automatically combine the ingredients into a potion.
I have made it outside and now I am stuck. Is the next step to find the key? Or is there an alternate way of entering the shop? Can I open the jammed drawer or this a red herring?
Ps. I pinned place mat to the bulletin board. Still looking for other ways to use our endless supply.
To get into the shop:
Interact with Richard.
Try to TAKE his stick.
The stick lets you use the new WEDGE command on two areas inside the house.
Use it to open the jammed drawer and to remove the picture frame.
Now turn the metal piece into a lockpick by ...
bending it on the wheel out in the yard.
The menu controls were iffy but that is forgivable. However nothing happens when putting all ingredients on the desk. I found not being able to finish very frustrating because I really love this game. Looking forward to more from this developer and a fix on this otherwise perfect game.
Are you sure you have all the items? Did you look at the recipe first? (Not sure if the game has to have you do that before you can move on or not but worth a shot.
