When you see the word "dismantlement" in front of a noun, especially when that noun is a gadget filled with nifty parts to dig through, you know it's time for another installment of the excellent point-and-click Dismantlement series! Just like previous releases, Dismantlement: Mini Keyboard charges you with the task of taking apart a gadget with nothing more than a screwdriver. The insides of this contraption won't be familiar to anyone who has actually pulled apart a keyboard before, and there might be a surprise (or six) waiting for you behind that rear panel!
Use the mouse to click on parts of the keyboard, zooming in on certain areas and opening tiny hatches when applicable. Any exposed screw can be removed with a simple click, and you can move back through the parts of the keyboard or even view the opposite side with the button in the top corner of the screen.
Much like a room escape game, Dismantlement: Mini Keyboard's challenge rests in its puzzles, many of which are code-related. For example, in this rather unusual keyboard, removing the back panel reveals some hatches that can only be opened by entering the proper sequence of numbers or letters. We don't know about you, but our keyboard certainly doesn't have that feature tucked away behind the circuits. If the Dismantlement series was going for realism, however, there would be a distinct lack of timers and bombs in things like toasters and tea canisters. We can suspend our disbelief for a few moments while we get absorbed in a new Dismantlement game!
Grab your screwdriver and get crackin', it's time to take apart a mini keyboard!

Dismantlement: Mini Keyboard Walkthrough
To begin: click the big screw, then click the other big screw.
Opening the Keyboard
You start facing the front of the keyboard. Click the round "To Rear" button at the top right to view the back of the keyboard.
Notice on the back:
@AAA@
GDBER
Click "To Front" to return to the front of the keyboard.
Remember those letters from the back? You need to type those in.
Hint:
You can't use the shift button here. Maybe there's another button you could use?
And don't forget that those letters appeared on two lines.
Solution:
Hit "Caps" (to the right of the space bar). Then type "@AAA@". Hit enter, then type "GDBER".
Go to the back of the keyboard. Click to remove the screws that have appeared, then click the back to remove that.
Lock 1
You should now be looking at the green innards of the keyboard. Click the big black square in the middle. Looks like we have two locks to figure out before we can open this square. Click "Back" to back up.
Click the green rectangle to the left of the black square. You see a bunch of letters and numbers. The top line says, "Q7 - U". What could that mean?
If you click the rectangle again to open it up, you can see that you need to enter four letters, numbered (1), (2), etc.
Back up and go to the front of the keyboard.
Look at the letter Q. It's at the beginning of a row. If we count seven letters from the beginning of the row (with Q as #1), then 7 would be U. Hence, "Q7 - U".
Remember the other letters and numbers from the back? Apply the above process to those other letters, but in the A row. Then go to the back of the keyboard again.
Open the green rectangle. Enter the code you figured out earlier. The code is:
SDGL
That unlocks Lock 1. Close the rectangle and back up.
Lock 2
Click the white rectangle to the right of the black square. Click it again to open it up. You again need to enter four letters. Above these letters are some boxes. Click a box, and it lights up. There are also some arrows next to each of the boxes.
Click one of the boxes to light it up. Take note of the direction of the arrow by that box, then go to the front of the keyboard.
One of the letters on the keyboard should be lit up. Remember what direction that arrow was going in? Imagine that arrow is pointing from the letter now instead of the box. That arrow points to the letter you need to enter on the back of the keyboard.
Repeat this process for all the boxes until you have four letters, then enter those letters in the white rectangle. The code is:
GGGG
Remove the screws that appear, then remove the white rectangle.
Lock 3
Zoom in on the black square, then click it to remove it. You are supposed to enter three numbers here. But where is the clue?
Go back to the front of the keyboard.
Those keys look sort of crooked. If you start clicking them, some will fall out. Click every one until you've gotten rid of all the removable ones. This should reveal three numbers.
Go to the back of the keyboard and enter the code:
881
Back up from the black square, then remove the four screws around the outside edge of the keyboard. Then click the green part to remove it.
The Bomb
Zoom in on the bomb. Click the two screws to remove them, then click the DANGER lid to open it. You need to enter three letters. Where is that clue?!
Go to the front of the keyboard.
Click the remaining keys to get rid of more of them. This reveals another code, this time in the negative space left by the missing keys.
Go to the back of the keyboard and enter the code:
IUH
Then click the screw under the letters. Click the clock to remove it, then click the screw that appears. Click again to remove the bomb. Go to the front. Remove all the remaining keys. Click the four screws that appear, then click the black section in the middle.
Congratulations! Hopefully you didn't blow up too many times.
