MayMay is back with another tasty escape game in Find 10 Cookies, where you have to do exactly what the title says if you ever want to get out. The cookies are everywhere, some sitting out in plain sight while others will require you to crack some pretty clever codes. Hey, cookies are serious business! There's no changing cursor, but most of what you can interact with is obvious, apart from one or two things that have more than one "hot spot" that makes them behave in different ways, or inventory items that need to be placed on juuuuuust the right portion of the screen to work. Despite this, Find 10 Cookies is still far more sweet than sour, and MayMay's ability to cook up smart, satisfying little escapes makes them one developer whose rapidly turning into a favourite treat.
Completely stuck.
I've opened the bin thing and I have two letter blocks. (Presumably waiting for an E.) I can't figure out any of the other puzzles, nor can I seem to find hints for them or different ways of interacting.
funnyguts
have you opened the closet?
I'm stuck on the box yellow + brown x green...I calculate it out and doesn't work!
Timmie, remember your order of operations: PEMDAS - parenthesis, exponents, MULTIPLICATION, division, ADDITION, subtraction. It's all about what order you do things in . . .
Of course! Thanks! That is just what I needed!
I'm out!
you have to follow math's order of operations. multiply first, then add.
I was stuck at the end for longer than I should've been. Here's a critical hint:
Counting to 10 is not the answer. Another piece of information needs to be involved.
It is a lot easier than it first seems.
I have no idea how to open the closet.
I'm out, but I did it without ever figuring out the computer. I tried every combination of the IKCSOE I could think of including
C O O K I E S. Let me know what I missed that hinted to how to solve it.
Power of posting, I just got it!
As for the computer...
check what it says in the inside of the wardrobe.
I'm stuck. I've gotten
4 cookies, letters K, E, Y, and a fake cookie
and figured out the
computer, both dresser codes, and the bin
and I have no idea where to go from here.
Leopardmask:
Investigate the desk a little more.
I'm with funnyguts. I can't get the closet...
To open the closet...
...remember where else you've seen triangles like that.
Oh, duhhhhh. Thank you SonicLover, I didn't realize I had the tools to solve the other puzzle there.
Ugh, I'm almost out and I'm stuck again. I have all 10 cookies but
I can't make their code work, I still have the knife, and I'm still stumped by the "I. D." on the back of the chair.
Leopardmask,
Obviously there is still something you must cut. Which object, somewhere else in the building, haven't you used yet? Cut it open!
Aha! Forgot about that one! Thank you!
The
carpet triangles
are obviously the clue for the closet, but i can't figure out the order.
Haha, oh man, the thing that stumped me was
figuring out where to use that stupid ladder. I thought it had to do with looking at the top of the wardrobe, but I just couldn't find the hotspot... my furious clicking ended up doing the trick. Also briefly stuck on the maths one, before being reminded by the comments of order of operations!
I do like MayMay's games, and I sure enjoyed this one.

You are probably making the same mistake I did initially, which was trying to use ALL the triangles... There are three colours on the rug, but only one of them features in every "square". Those are the triangles you're interested in. The panel on the wardrobe is also indicating which colour you should be looking for! Hope that helps.
I'm stuck with
nine cookies, a box cutter, and an ID card. The only lock I'm aware of that I haven't cracked yet is the last one, and I already got the cookie from the pink shirt.
Ah. POP.
I thought I'd already clicked on the top half of the blue and green box, but apparently I hadn't clicked the very top of the box.
note: if you use the knife on the blue-green box before opening the top part, the cookie disappears, and you can't finish the game... :(
"I'm so EXITED!" -- Is that a misspelling, or an escape room joke?
Thanks, SonicLover! If not for you, I would still be
pressing those cookie spots over and over, wondering why it didn't work!
For those of us still cranking blissfully away, remember that
you have two pieces left in your inventory
only one of them is useful
the other one is just for slicing and dicing things, like, say, your wrists, after you've pressed those dang cookie spots eight million times! what, me, angry? surely you jest!
can't wait for this one
With the help here I got to 6 cookies. But am lost at what to try.
There is the door besides the wardrobe, the letters on the back of the chair and the nailed shut part of the wardrobe. The only item I have is the cookie.
The door with the doormat seems to be the exit door and probably needs the 10 cookies.
What am I missing ?
Fortunately my son came and I explained him all I found. Then I saw that I missed the
secret compartment in the desk drawer with the key for the door besides the wardrobe.
Totally stuck
Have a ladder, knife, ID card and 8 cookies. Very unhappy click fest here trying to find out where the ladder goes
no walkthrough yet?
On one hand, I'm glad a walkthrough isn't here yet so I can continue with MayMay's ten series. On the other hand, I got here so late that the comment section practically provides its own walkthrough, so I figured I should give credit to the posters who first provided hints for certain steps.
The snail is so exited.
The starting view has a computer and a door. Clicking either arrow will bring you to a cabinet and a door.
This time there is no freebie door. But that is a nice looking rug.
Make note of the numbered triangles.
Turn around. Only the upper right cabinet drawer can be opened. (1)
To open the left cabinet door, you'll have to enter in the directions of the brown triangles from the rug in the order of the arrow.
@SonicLover
If there is a message in a cabinet, it's probably important. While you're in here, see if there's anything good in the shirt pocket.
And before you question why would someone put a cookie in a shirt pocket, note that this cookie is in a wrapper.
Is there anything behind those shirts?
To open the box, you'll need the numbers from the rug and PEMDAS. (2)
@outkry4123 and @prairiegal
Go back to the computer.
(3) The obvious choice is COOKIES, but that doesn't work.
Remember the cabinet message?
It's one of those letters look like numbers and numbers look like letters puzzles.
@timmotheous
Return to the shirts.
Use the arrows from the computer to open the safe. (4)
Go back to the computer, but this time, check out the drawer. It's locked. How do you open it?
You'll need a KEY
Put the letter blocks you found in the holes so it spells out key. You will have to do some rotating.
@SonicLover
(5) It looks like there's something back there.
Pull it again.
@markus_b and son.
The key is for the red door. You have to click the circle for the door to unlock.
This is not the room to which you were trying to escape.
Get the climbing thing and the hammer. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE THE LID OFF OF THE BOX. (6)
@ Xelia and @grayk
Use the hammer on the bottom right drawer of the cabinet.(7) Take the knife and the numbers and the colors.
Inside the box there was another box with three buttons. (8)
Cutting it open
Cut open the packaged cookie. (9)
And cut that box in the other room too.
Use the tool from the box on the back of the chair to remove the I.D.
That snail has good handwriting.
@Fellow google account
Ladder? Stepladder? Object of rage induced clicking?
It might take a few clicks but the climbing devise goes in front of the cabinet. I clicked on the ground in front of the cabinet.(10)
@Squiddly
The cookies are numbered. The I.D. also has numbers.
Enter the I.D. number on the buttons by the door.
@SonicLover
Cookies make the snail slow???
This one wasn't as great as the cupcake one, but hopefully it helped.
The names come AFTER the steps they posted first.
can't figure out the
arrow step needed for the cabinet to unlock.
To open the cabinet
The puzzle on the cabinet has four brown triangles to click, pointing down-left, up-right, up-left, down-right.
The rug has triangles in three different colours: brown, white, green, but we're only interested in the brown ones.
The top part of the cabinet puzzle says what order to choose the brown triangles on the rug, starting with the one in the middle of the top row,
down-right
and then working our way around counter-clockwise.
