Find the Escape-Men Part 115: Summer Vacation

DoraIt's the last day of summer vacation, and like any kid worth his salt, the protagonist of no1game's Find the Escape-Men Part 115: Summer Vacation has put off every single piece of homework til the last minute. Procrastinators unite!... eh... eventually. For some reason, his mother fails to see this as the badge of honor it is for childhood, and demands he finish every piece before she gets home. Luckily for him, he's found a flyer for a special, totally not shady "homework finishing service"! All he has to do is find ten little green men, already hidden around the house, and all his problems are solved. Like all Escape-Men games, all you have to do to play is click around to interact and solve puzzles, though since the game doesn't have a changing cursor to indicate any "hotspots", you'll need to be diligent and search everywhere. Click an item's question mark icon to view it closer up, which can allow you to interact with it in new ways.

To find all ten green dudes, you'll need to use patience, but also a certain amount of silly logic. no1games have always been about whimsy as much as escaping, and Summer Vacation is as weird as you'd expect, though maybe a bit more restrained than other games in the series. Puzzles are actually pretty logical, with some sneaky hidden clues, so the biggest obstacle you're likely to encounter is just not knowing where to click or stand around when you get stuck. Still, it's unexpectedly clever in some places in a way that makes up for its moments of unintuitiveness, and provides a nice, light, short break... before you get back to all that work you've been putting off, too.

Right, left, middle, middle, right

    2. Wardrobe (35)
    3. On the floor to the right of the wardrobe (68... or is it?)

  • Put the notes together (or, rather, imagine putting them together) so the notches match up to get a 6-digit number. Use it to open the gray box on the desk.

    Get the pencil.

  • Use the pencil on the workbook. When you're done writing the essay, open the book (it's backwards).

I am stuck on the last escape man. I've gotten 9 others, farther than I've ever gotten without a walkthru, and the only thing I have that's usable is

the paint set, and I already got the EM in the painting.
I also have EMs from: closet, side of bookshelf, essay, math book, under sheets, telephone repairman, and blue books on shelf.

Which one am I missing?

Leopardmask, have you taken a close look at

the design on the main door?

"with his salt" Shouldn't that read "worth his salt"?

I get that problem with no1game's games sometimes. Try quitting and restarting your browser; if that doesn't work, clear your browser cache.

Fun!

Summer homework? If I have to do homework during vacation then can I vacation during school? And,

how much does it cost for someone to come over and tell me to do it myself?

love these escape men games from no1game. good to see it as a regular game again instead of a mini game on weekday escape, but they are still cool. walkthrough out yet?

Reply

shipoopie: Yes, summer homework. My understanding is that the Japanese school year starts in April and ends in March, so summer vacation is in the middle of the school year, and students are typically given a huge amount homework to do over the summer.

@Paul

If a walkthrough was out yet, you'd see it. Stop asking.

If, like me, you're wracking your brains trying to figure out how the six digits on the cover of the math drill book relate to the box on the desk:

They don't.

Also, check around the sides of every darn thing if you're stuck.

shipoopie, i'm just asking and being nice. there was no need to be that way.

Love the Escape-Men games. And I love the great lesson of this one. Super fun!

I also have the same problem as Ashiel and clearing the cache/resetting the browser isn't working for me. Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks!

Try playing the game in a different browser (if you have one available). Other than that, keep hitting Ctrl+F5, hoping for a set of ads that doesn't trigger the restarting bug.

I suppose at this point there is no walkthrough or at least one in the works hehe. :)

What a fun quick game. Pretty easy, didn't need a walkthrough or maybe I'm starting to wise up to the usual tricks these games pull on you.

guess not. :(
