Grand Banda from Pastel Games, Karol Konwerski and Marek Lachowicz is a point-and-click adventure game about funky grannies with an amazing soundtrack by Tomasz TJFK Kuczma. If you need to know much more than "funky grannies having an adventure" to play this game, I'm not sure we can be friends, but I'll tell you anyway. Our two be-laced heroines are having a fine old time in their seaside house listening to music right up until their light bulb bursts and they're forced to find other means of entertainment. Baffling, mayhem causing entertainment. Just click to navigate, zoom in, or use items whenever your cursor changes to indicate an interactive zone. Don't be afraid to try everything, because you'll probably need to.
The main problem with Grand Banda is its baffling leaps of logic. Given how little instruction you're given (none), the first portion of the game makes little to no sense as there's no real reason to assume the player would make the connections required to continue the game. The second portion of the game gives you a better idea of what you're supposed to be doing and why, with puzzles that make a weird sort of sense within the game's cartoony world. Even given the rocky start, however, Grand Banda is still worth checking out. The soundtrack is fantastically weird and funny, and combined with the game's unique style and madcap premise, makes for a delightfully wacky experience. One can only hope future installments give a little more direction in some of their wilder leaps of logic, but we also definitely hope we haven't seen the last of these two troublemakers.

Grand Banda Walkthrough
Docks
Move the screen all the way over to the left and take the broom sticking out of the trash can, and the open can on the ground beside it.
Click on the doors of the orange shipping container to open them, click again to zoom in, and take a container of yellow curry.
Click on the shed on the right side of the screen.
Click on the door of the shed, and use a knitting needle to unlock it. Go inside.
Click on the ceiling fan to take the fan blades.
Place the empty can in the sink and click the faucet handle to fill it with water. Take it.
Place the can with water on the gas cannister in the middle of the room.
Use the yellow curry on the heated can of water. Take what is now a "can of yellow paint".
Use the broom on the can of yellow paint in your inventory.
Navigate back outside to the main screen with the shipping containers.
Take the two empty barrels from beside the shed.
Click on the SIDE of the blue shipping container to zoom in.
Use the broom with paint on the circle outline on the blue shipping container to paint it yellow.
Use the fan blades on the yellow circle to make a radioactive symbol.
Navigate back to the main screen again, and this time click on the blue shipping container's doors to open them. Click again to zoom in.
Place the two empty barrels inside the shipping container.
Use the yellow broom on the empty barrels.
Use your last knitting needle on the empty barrels.
Outside Power Plant
Move to the right and click on the open door of the truck.
Take one of the toy cat heads hanging from the mirror.
Click to open the glove box and take the picture inside.
Take the piece of gum off of the shift stick on the steering wheel. (1/4 gum pieces)
Navigate back to the main screen outside the power plant.
Move all the way to the far left and click the door leaning against the wall to zoom in.
Click to take the two brackets at the top of the door leaning against the wall. (2/4 bracket pieces)
Click to open the tool box. Take the jar of screws and the duct tape.
Navigate back to the main screen again.
Click on the door to the left of the entryway to zoom in.
Take the piece of gum stuck underneath the phone (2/4 gum pieces), the phone wire, and the two brackets on top of the door itself. (4/4 bracket pieces)
Click the door to go inside.
Take the piece of gum stuck under the rim of the plant pot. (3/4 gum pieces)
Take the robot vacuum in the middle of the room.
Click the desk to zoom in. Take the gum stuck under the left side of the desk (4/4 gum pieces) and the slinky from the top of the desk.
Click the picture in your inventory.
Place each required item where it belongs on the picture/blueprint. (Cat head, phone wire for tail, slinky for body, roll of tape, four gum pieces, and four brackets for legs.) Click to take the cat toy.
Combine the cat toy with the robot vacuum cleaner.
Navigate back out to the entry of the power plant and click the two robot dogs to zoom in.
Use the artifical cat on a vacuum cleaner on the red-nosed dog.
Use the jar of screws on the empty food bowl.
Now you can go past the dogs to the inside!
Inside the Power Plant
Click on the notice board to zoom in.
Make note of the "Lucky Number" 325.
Take the needle holding up the other flyer.
Go through the door on the right to the changing room.
Take the suba goggles and the empty bottle from the open locker.
Click the locker with the keypad and enter the Lucky Number 325.
Take the diamond ring.
Use the needle to pick the lock on the far right locker.
Take the fishing rod and the rubber boots.
Go back to the main room.
Click to zoom in on the front desk.
Use the diamong ring to cut through the glass.
Take the key card.
Go back to the main room.
Move to the far left and take the hanging yellow coat.
Use the ID card in your inventory on the electronic lock next to the door on the far left.
Combine the yarn and the fishing rod in your inventory.
Click the green flames.
A winner is you!
