I've been getting thousands of emails from loyal JIG-goers asking me, "why the lengthy, random Link Dump Friday introductions?" Well actually, most of the emails are proposals and rich Nigerians offering cheap meds from Canada, but that's beside the point. Anyway, due to the imaginary backlash, I will now vow to keep things short, concise, and free of redundancy. These short introductions will not bog you down with words, sayings, poems, words, or scary and unnecessary punctuation. Instead, they will be free of repetitiveness and confusing sentence structure. Free of which they will be. Please see section 3-b for more detailed explanations.
- Red Team - Pilot two demon chickens through treacherous and slowly differing caves. Does your right hand know what the left is doing?
- Gravity - Navigate your smiley-faced alien through multiple missions centering on working with the laws of gravity.
- S3QUENC3R - A reverse Simon Says game played with numbers on the numeric keypad.
- Straight Dice - When faced with a grid of multicolor dice, most people run away screaming. In this case, try clicking the dice to match three or more consecutive numbers. By the Bloons creators over at NinjaKiwi.
- Circlo - A somewhat interesting twist on the puzzle bobble genre.
- There She Is!! - One of my favorite flash animations of all time. It's a few years old but still good. Stay tuned for part two coming next week!
And now, a treat for you! (All the previous stuff was distracting fluff). A recipe for Cold Mango Soup! Wait, I seem to have misplaced that one. Instead, I present to you a recipe for Cold Strawberry Soup! Here is what you need:
- 2 cups strawberries minus the icky green parts
- 1 cup plain or vanilla yogurt, hopefully fresh
- 1/2 cup sugar or less...or more
- some orange juice (remember, cool people like pulp)
- no bees, no bees at all
Also try adding cinnamon if you're feeling happy, or sour cream if you're slightly bitter. Please note, all ingredients are optional, as you can have strawberry soup or not have strawberry soup. Stick all ingredients in a blendy thing with a blade and then eat it with your mouth (the soup, not the blade).
"You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late" -Ralph Waldo Emerson
Part two has been out for a long time on the official site:

That was... by far... the absoloute greatest review for anything that's ever been on here. I salute you, Harukiooo. I salute you.
Also, weebl and bob rock.
I like straight dice, but sometimes you get some bad flops.
9 "2"s?
I like flying waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy up on gravity and then plunging towards the planet! X( = :)
lol!!!!
hahahaha
Red Team: Very interesting design, but the ads every few tries really detracts from the game. Any idea how many levels there are? Im on 7 now
Ah, I knew that Part II, Cake Dance, had been out for a while, I just wanted to withhold it Planetarium-style (see last LDF) to prevent flash movie overload.
;)
spun00: From the comments on the Red Team-site there seem to be 8 levels. I'm on #8 now, and my right hand clearly does not know what my left one is doing :) Password for that level:
"Impossible" - Makes sense, huh?
AHHH! I used to love that song you posted, There She Is! And, gasp, what's this?! There was a sequel and I never saw it?! Really really can't wait until next week now, kudos on the great find!!
/em goes to listen to There She Is over and over and over again =D
Straight Dice... so difficult... so addictive...
But when all four middle dice are the same colour, if none are sequential, you're probably screwed.
I find the automated ads in Red Team a bit annoying, because they keep causing the pattern mapping in my head to blank out when I have to wait ten seconds to restart. But I eventually finished it. It's quite clever (read: devious) on the last level.
Gravity is also a bit tricky, as trying to fly something while the ground is shifting location while your controls remain the same goes against the way your vision works. And the giant rock of doom isn't helping. A good challenge for everybody. But the ending makes no sense at all.
Circlo is actually quite original in reinventing the concept(even though there might be something similar out there, I haven't heard of it). Also, it's quite satisfying when you make a pinpoint shot.
Hey! I just want you to know that I love link dump fridays. I love your introductions, and now, I'm seriously going to have to try some cold strawberry soup. I had cold mango soup once, it was awesome.
So.. ignore those people who complain about long introductions, I like them. It's not like it's hard to scroll down to the actual links.
Another nice Link dump...
Circlo was a game that made me very dizzy...
actually I haven't been this dizzy since...I played some flying piggy bank game
And red team is a bit similar to puppy(ies) for all season...
And that's my useless two cents worth
what's the music in ddautta? I heard it performed by those "crazy korean girls"...
The sumo game would have been fantastic if i had been interested for more than 5 minutes. Not enough to do...
HA!
Oh man, the weebls animations (almost) always have my side-splitting. I hadn't checked it in a while, so it was nice to see "No Bees!" A clever bit at the end:
"What, you're not looping it?"
"Nope!"
click on the moon in cake dance. there is a fish or blimp. you can find out about i think it was sogong? and the one day comic
that's a secret in cake dance
what's with the muzzle?
Gravity is my favorite Miniclip game!
weirdguy, the controls are always relative to the probe, so i don't see much a problem with that.
I enjoyed Red Team until I got to the "Traps" level, where it suddenly becomes a memory game with a lot of restarting instead of a game of reflexes. It's kind of irritating to have a level that you can't finish without multiple restarts in a game where, after x number of restarts, you have to see another blasted advertisement.
ahhh, red team helps me appreciate my slow celeron processor/crappy video card combo... okay, that might not be entirely true. Nice link dump
Wait -- how much orange juice? HOW MUCH?
It's true, the cool people do like the pulp!
Circlo is freakin' DIFFICULT! I thought when I loaded it "Oh big deal, an ugly version of Snood", but argh! Then on the second level that little cannon that shoots the mystery balls... won the game for me? It made a shot that caused all of the balls to drop off, it definitely wasn't me. It's a bit like winning a pool game because your partner potted the white ball.
Does anyone speak Korean so they can translate There She Is? I mean, I get it, but now I want to know what the lyrics are.
