First, I believe that this website should commit itself to achieving the goal, before this decade is out, of landing a Link Dump Friday on the moon and returning it safely to the earth. No single space project in this period will be more impressive to mankind, or more important for the long-range exploration of space; and none will be so difficult or expensive to accomplish.
- That Word Game - Letters of all sizes fall from the top of screen, piling into an atrocious mess at the bottom. Click them in order to spell words, the longer the better, and try to score time bonuses to stay alive.
- Kutuke - A different take on the memory matching concept, your goal is to click and eliminate the main symbol. In order to do that, however, you must first click its prerequisite, which itself may have one or more prerequisites, and so on. Work backwards and eliminate the chain.
- Maze Stopper 2 - Stop the guy in blue from reaching the flag before your character by placing obstacles in his way! Freeze/unfreeze time with the [spacebar] and place stones with the mouse. Simple, but challenging.
- Alphabreakical - A stylish Breakout clone centered around destroying letters of the alphabet. Break the blocks in the right order (as indicated by the moving star icon) for tons of points.
- Ninja or Nun - One is a battle-hardened mercenary, bringer of swift justice and master of subterfuge. The other... is a ninja. And it's your job to find and click the ninja as quickly as you can.
- Dropple - Control the bouncing ball to pick up coins scattered about the platforms (some of which... MOVE!) across the stage.
Ninja or Nun made me want to claw my eyes out after a while. It's engaging at the beginning, but the gameplay gets very repetitive, VERY quickly.
That said, Maze Stopper and Kutuke are addictive! I just couldn't stop trying to "replay!" Kutuke is surprisingly short, though.
I found That Word Game to be difficult to focus on letters that are all falling at once. But maybe that's just me.
Kutuke was enjoyable, but short, as KL said. I couldn't get into That Word Game - to jumbled for me.
The russians already put a link dump sputnik on the moon!
Oh sure, laugh it up about nuns and ninjas now, but what happens when the streams cross?
*shakes head* When will people cease to meddle with forces they cannot possibly understand...
While the idea behind Alphabreakical was neat, I couldn't get past A, because the game would lag and I would lose my ball, which then resulted in a game over. Any game where you don't get 3 balls isn't worth the time, nor is any game that unexpectedly stops responding when nothing else is running on the computer.
OK, Ninja or Nun is simply the Best. Game. Ever.
Yes, it's repetitive, but I love the idea behind it, and I just can't stop trying to find that guy. He keeps eventually beating me, but someday I will prevail for good.
maze stopper is annoying. I can't get past level 3!...or was it 4?
For what it's worth, to save anybody else any trouble, if you *do* manage to beat Alphabreakical without dying (which actually isn't that hard, there aren't really any surprises), the game just stops and boots you to the high score submission just like it does when you die. Kinda lame.
5 stars to Maze Stopper!
There's an expand-on-mouseover ad on the same page as That Word Game which is really making it hard to play.
