Every Friday morning I wake up, and before I put on my makeup... I make a little Link Dump Friday for yoooooou... Okay, so maybe it's not quite going to replace the classic, especially since my "makeup" typically consists of eyeliner I've probably stabbed myself in the eye six times with trying to put on. But this week, like any other week honestly, it doesn't matter what you've got on your face, because you can enjoy these games from the dungeon-like confines of your curtained lair! We've got a game where world domination via the undead is just a click away, a temple where a mirror is your only defense, a restaurant that would make Gordon Ramsay shout himself hoarse, and the world's worst impromptu camping trip!
- The One Fork Restaurant DX - LudoScience's silly arcade game about a restaurant that has only one fork to share between all of its patrons might as well also be called "I Don't Feel Like Doing The Dishes Tonight Sim DX". As the title implies, with only one fork to go around, customers have to share, but their patience rapidly depletes while they're waiting for their turn. How long can you keep everyone happy and plates cleared?
- Alone: Zombiewoods - Goody Gameworks wants to know how long you'd survive lost in a forest with zombies after you, and in my case, I probably wouldn't even need the zombie part of the equation to wind up dirty, crying, and eating twigs inside of three hours. Scrounge for supplies, build your defenses, upgrade your camp and more by day while taking care of your basic needs, but watch out for dangers!
- Udom Nebdon - Paul Lawitzki calls this short creepy game an "Alone-in-the-Dark-alike", though it's missing at least one scowling "gritty" protagonist and a trench coat to accurately earn that moniker. Made in just 72 hours for Ludum Dare, you play a hooded acolyte armed only with a mirror sloooooowly making your way up through a darkened temple. The old school atmosphere and visuals are great, but the scariest thing might be... the tank controls! Aieeeeee!
- Overlod - I wanted to be a lot of things when I was little. Veterinarian. Writer. Professional cat petter. But deep within the heart of every child lurks the desire to roll over the land in an unstoppable wave of demonic forces and necromantic nightmares, the cries of those who once held you back swallowed by the cacophony of dark glee rising from a hundred thousand inhuman throats, the scent of ash and despair on the stale breeze... and now thanks to Talesay's cute little incremental idle game, you can live out your childhood dreams!
Yow, Alone: Zombiewoods looks beautiful but it's nigh-unplayable on my computer. I don't think I've seen a Flash game run that poorly before.
