By the time you finish reading this sentence, you could have lost three games of Lumena. The high-speed, twitch-based arcade gameplay will be familiar to anyone who tortured their hand eye coordination with the likes of Super Hexagon, only this time around there's a bit of a rhythm aspect to it. Even if you can follow the beat, though, it's still not an easy game. Not by a longshot.
The simple idea behind Lumena is to flick the orb from the center of the circle to the perimeter. The goal is to hit the lit sections that travel around the circle along with the beat. It's not about how fast you can hit the lit sections or how many you can hit, it's about how long you can go without missing. Careful with that, though, as once three seconds pass your round is automatically ended. Eventually you'll find the crucial balance between speed and patience, sliding into that rhythm groove and staying in the game for dozens of seconds or even minutes at a time!
