What's the last thing that happens before Christmas? You go to sleep! That is, you would if there weren't so much going on in your house. A follow-up to Quiet, Please!, Nostatic Software has released Quiet Christmas, a sidescrolling puzzle adventure game that's all about getting a bit of rest before Santa arrives. The sooner you get your brother to chill out, fix the tree, get rid of the neighbor's annoying decorations, and find a way to warm up the house, you're good to go!
Use the on-screen arrows to move left or right in Quiet Christmas, tapping the "interact" or "item" buttons in front of certain objects to utilize your awesome powers of "doing basic stuff", like opening doors, looking inside the washing machine, or making cookies one ingredient at a time. The puzzles and atmosphere are very old school in nature, so the more you explore and experiment, the further you'll get. A nice lighthearted holiday adventure, perfect for anyone looking for a bit of a distraction until Santa arrives.
NOTE: This game was played and reviewed on the Nexus 4. Game was available in the North American market at the time of publication, but may not be available in other territories. Please see individual app market pages for purchasing info.

Quiet Christmas Walkthrough
Getting Around the House
The room you start in is your bedroom, on the second floor of the house. To the right from there is the second floor hallway, featuring the stairs to the first floor, the door to your little brother's room, and your cat bed. To the right of that is the door to the parents' room.
On the first floor, from left to right, are your neighbor Mr. Peabody's yard, the living room, the kitchen, the dining room, and the end hallway (with the stairs to the basement).
Going through the background door in the living room or the end hallway will take you to the "back" of the house, where the garage is. (Unless you've opened the garage door already, you'll have to enter from the living room.) You can see your little brother's room right above the garage. Going left from the garage will get you to the backyard.
The Inflatable Santa
First order of business is to get rid of Mr. Peabody's inflatable Santa. Go to the backyard (go left from the garage) and take the branch (the snowman's arm). Use it to puncture the Santa so it doesn't bother anyone.
The Tree Lights
If you try plugging in the tree in the living room, you'll find that the lights aren't working. Unplug it and take out the bad bulb. Now you need a replacement. Hmm... maybe you can swipe one from Mr. Peabody's tree.
It can't be unplugged, so you'll have to resort to something else. Take the wire cutters from the garage and use them to cut the lights, after which you can safely take a light. Put the light in your tree and plug it in. Done!
Warming Up the House
If you go to the basement, you'll see that Dad is fixing the furnace... or trying to. Note that there's something missing from his toolbox. If you can find it, maybe he'll have better luck.
If you look on the shelf in your little brother's room, you'll find a wrench. He must have stolen it as a prank. Take it, and stick it in the toolbox when Dad isn't looking. Then wait.
Your Little Brother: The Last Present
Step one for getting your little brother to bed is getting that last present under the tree (it's one of the things he randomly says as he runs around). Mom's still wrapping presents; if you listen to her, you'll notice that she's complaining about missing tape.
It's in the trunk of the car in the garage. Give the tape to Mom and she'll leave the present. Take the present and stick it under the tree. Your brother will rush around with excitement!
Your Little Brother: Missing Stocking
You also need to find your little brother's Christmas stocking. It's in the clothes dryer in the basement; take it and hang it with the others in the living room. He'll come running again.
Your Little Brother: Milk and Cookies
The last thing you need to do to satisfy your brother is to leave milk and cookies for Santa. The milk's the easy part; it's in the fridge in the kitchen, so take it and leave it on the end table in the living room.
The cookies are more complicated. The recipe's in the kitchen, so take the mixing bowl from the dining room and start gathering ingredients. The butter's on the table in the kitchen, and the eggs are in the fridge in the garage.
The flour and sugar are on the high shelf in the kitchen. To reach them, fetch the extendable ladder from the side of the house (near the garage) and set it below each ingredient, then extend it to reach. Sugar's in the middle and flour's on the right; the one on the left is rice, so don't bother with it.
Once you've got the dough, stick it in the oven and close it, wait for the ding, then take the cookies out and put them on the end table with the milk.
Endgame
Once you've done all of the above, you can go to bed... or try to. A noise will wake you up. Go to the front door (left from the living room) to find Mr. Peabody and his dog caroling at the door.
You may have noticed that if you hit the Item button while outside, you can make a snowball and then throw it. Pelt Mr. Peabody with snowballs until he gets fed up and leaves. Now you can go to bed for real.
It's good to see SOMEONE is enjoying the milk and cookies...
