R-LO is a very fuzzy escape game from no1game, and as usual, you're trapped somewhere and surrounded by cryptic clues and puzzling mechanisms. The cursor won't change if you can interact with something, so you need to go about it the old fashioned way and click everywhere to make sure you find everything you need, though pixel hunting is mostly non-existent. Instead, you'll be required to solve puzzles that need logic more than anything else, and know how to spot a clue when you see it. R-LO may be short, but it's also smart, with some appealingly sneaky puzzles and tidy (though, really, so fuzzy) design, making it an excellent warmup for escape fans of all kinds.

I'm stuck in the same place, and I've tried what people seem to be hinting at. What am I missing?
Next to the letter "R" in "FORKS,"
I found a
counterclockwise direction arrow,
which I assume refers to the
clock.
I've opened
the fork box, which gave me a key but no note.
I used the
key to go outside on the porch,
where I found
a chess board with a seemingly unrelated clue,
and
the cane.
Then I used that to
unroll the window blinds,
which gave me a clue for the
R/L puzzle.
Now I'm stuck. I've tried every interpretation I can think of for those clues. Any help?

the counterclockwise arrow
if you got the "fork box" open, you already used the directional arrow clue. it's just telling you what order to put the letters in on the box.

the cane
the game greys out any item that has been used. if it's not greyed out, you still need it to do something.
3.
the box outside
you will need a clue from the fork box (look closely to see what clues there are there) and also a button for the left hand side ... a yellow button ... in a triangular shape ... where might you have seen that before? somewhere high up? where you might have to pull it down with something?
don't want to give away too much in case you wanted to try more yourself ... check back if u need more help.

This also may be the longest walkthrough ever written for a game this short... but that's just me. I'm excitable like that. I hope I've made it enjoyable!
FULL R-LO WALKTHROUGH:
Part One: First Exploration
First View: Clock Wall
There are only two things here you can interact with: the clock and the small shelf. The rest is just background.
The Clock:
Click on it for a close up.
Notice the shapes of the decorative points: some long and some short.
Also note that one of them is a different color, yellow instead of orange. For colorblind people, it's the point at 8:00.
The Shelf:
Click on the shelf next. There are a few things to look at here.
Notice the four orange letters on the shelves. Clockwise from top: O, F, K, R.
O, F, and K can't be clicked on, but clicking on R gives you a close-up.
Behind the R is a curved arrow, pointing in a counterclockwise circle.
Zoom back out to the main shelf view and click on the small box in the center. It's locked with a four-space letter code.
There are some obvious letters you could try, but in what order?
Remember that curved arrow?
Take another look. It starts at the far right, then curves around to the top, left, and lowest points.
Read the letters in that order, counterclockwise from the right.
It spells "FORK." Input that word to open the box.
Inside you will find... forks! And a key. Take the key, but notice the forks too. The details about them will become important later.
Look closely at the forks. What is different about some of them?
Some of the forks have three points, and some have four.
Count how many of each, in order. From left to right, the pattern is:
Four, three, three, four, four, three, three.
Back away from the box and the shelf. It's time to explore some more!
Second View: Window Wall
Turn left, and you're looking at a wall with a door and three full-length glass windows. Again, there are two things you can interact with here.
The Window:
Click on the window at the far left. It will zoom in for a close-up, but there's nothing else you can do here so far. Take a careful look, though:
Notice the rolled-up blinds panel at the top. You can see it, but you can't reach it... yet.
The Door:
Now this is more promising... maybe.
Try clicking on the handle.
Oh, no! It won't open! Well, what did you expect? This is an escape game, after all.
But wait! All is not lost!
You have a key!
Use the key and go outside.
No, you haven't won yet! :) But there's more to see out here. Have a look around.
Third View: The Balcony
There are several things to do here. Take your time and look around.
The Chess Board:
First, click on the chess board for a close-up.
There's a single piece sitting on the board. Hmm...
Click the chess piece and it will lift up to reveal a word:
KING
The Corner:
Click on the area to your left to move into the corner of the balcony.
First things first: grab some loot!
There is a cane standing propped in the corner. Take it. They're good for more than just walking with style.
Now, that box you've been wanting to nose-dive for since you stepped through the door! Go ahead, look at it now.
Clicking on the box gives you a close-up. It's locked, of course. Looks like there are two buttons on the lid: a triangle and a square...
Wait, no, there aren't! The square on the right seems to be a yellow button, but the triangle to its left is just an empty space in the wooden lid. What kind of game is this?!
An escape game, of course. Where there isn't a button, you'll have to provide one yourself.
All right, save that for later. Back out one step, so you're looking at the balcony corner again.
This part is sneaky, and I missed it for some time. Take a look around in this view...
You can actually turn left from here. Do so, and you're looking into the living room through the window. There doesn't seem to be much to see, but if this view has caught your attention, there must be a reason for it. Maybe you'll find out later.
Back out until you find yourself indoors once again. There's still more to discover about this place...
Fourth View: Double Doors
Turn left again. You'll see a set of double doors framed by small, decorative shelves.
The Doors:
Now these doors look important! Probably your way out of here. You could try opening them...
But of course, it won't work. And your key's already grayed out!
Bashing them open with the cane probably won't work either... Go ahead and try it, though, if you want. (I did.)
Nope, doesn't work. Although it would have been a funny alternate ending. ;)
All right, back to serious business. Time to look at those two shelves.
Left Shelf:
Clicking on this shelf gives you one thing: a close-up of a lock that needs a three-letter code.
You've found no real clue yet for what letters to use, so leave it for now.
Right Shelf:
There's one thing you can mess with on this shelf, too:
A fun little bouncy box with two buttons, right and left.
At least these buttons actually work! But clicking on them at random doesn't seem to do anything. (As if it ever does. Well, not usually, MacGuyver.)
Speaking of buttons that work, (or don't!), you've left a trail of puzzles behind you that need solving. And I'll bet you have what it takes to crack some of them by now. On to it!
Part Two: Take That, Puzzles!
First View: Clock Wall
Turn left one more time, and you're back where you started. Is there anything different you can do here now?
What do you have now that you didn't before?
The cane! What is it good for?
Well, if you know anyone who uses a cane, chances are you've seen them do a few different things with it. There's walking, which isn't what we need here. There's dramatic gesturing, which is cool, but also doesn't seem necessary when you're the only one in the room. And...
That's right! Almost anyone who uses a cane can be counted on to use it for reaching stuff!
What do you see here that's out of reach?
The clock! Come on, you knew it was important when you first saw it.
Take a closer look at it, then highlight the cane and click on the clock again. Go ahead, take a good swing at it.
What's this? You broke it!
No, not exactly. But you did manage to knock down one of the decorative points. The yellow one from 8:00, in fact. It's in your inventory now, so take a closer look.
It's a triangular little yellow clock point. Does it look familiar?
Like something you've seen before?
Or something you haven't seen?
But wanted to?

All right, time to get out to the balcony and see if you can fix that darn box...
What's this, you say? That rolled-up window blind just looks soooo tempting?
And you're already wielding a hefty cane in your hand?
And you want to do some more damage with it? Right now?
All right. Just try not to break the window. You want to escape, not get sued for vandalism. (Besides the clock.)
Click on the left-hand window to zoom in, then highlight the cane and - carefully, please! - pull the blinds down.
I'm just kidding. You can't break the window. But again, it would be funny if you could.
But what's this? There's something on the blinds!
It's a clue, of course. A sort of picture clue:
(SHORT TRIANGLE) = R
(LONG TRIANGLE) = L
What could that mean?
Don't break your brain over it for now. You were headed to the balcony, remember?
Third View: The Balcony
Head for the box. You know the one I mean.
Zoom in on it.
Yes, your yellow triangle/clock piece looks awfully promising.
Select the triangle in your inventory, then click the empty triangle space on the box to install it.
Voila! You now have a box with two working buttons. They bounce in a fun, springy sort of way, but how to solve it?
Believe it or not, you already have the clue you need. It'll just take a little logical thinking.
There's one difference between these buttons:
One is a triangle and the other is a square.
What's the difference between a triangle and a square?
One has three sides and the other has four.
Three and four... does that sound familiar?
What else have you seen where the only difference... was the difference between three and four?
That's right: the forks!
Use the forks!!! (Kudos @ dathon for that one, although I totally missed what you were getting at when you said it. ;P)
Remember the pattern of the forks in that first box? Some of them had three points, some had four. Go back and check the pattern again if you like. Or just click here:

Translate that into the shape equivalents, and you get:

Yes, there is something different! The blind you unrolled is now blocking your view of the inside room - but there's a clue on this side of it too! You sneaky escaper, looking through a window to see a clue on the back of a blind. Cool detective work!
Oh yes, the clue itself. Stop capering with excitement long enough to read it:

Part Three: Being Really Smart
First View: Clock Wall
There's no Thinking Chair in this room, but humor me. Go back to the first area and just pretend you're sitting on that comfy sofa to puzzle things out.
You see, you're about to combine three separate pieces of information to solve a delightfully sneaky little puzzle, so it kind of fits. Think, think, think!
All right, get out your handy-dandy... No, I won't push the Blue's Clues any farther. But take a look at your note. The one in your inventory.
It has a sequence of numbers on it.
462937, to be exact.
Where else in this room have you seen numbers?
One place, and only one place.
The clock!
Take a look at where those numbers would fall on the clock face. Is there anything special or different about those places?
Yes, there is! Exactly one thing, in fact:
Some of the numbers, or their places since they're not all printed on this clock face, are next to long triangles, and some are next to short ones.
0 = long, 1 = short, 2 = short, 3 = long, 4 = short, 5 = short, 6 = long, 7 = short, 8 = short (remember the short yellow triangle you took from next to the 8:00 position?), 9 = long, 10 = short, 11 = short
Go back to the sequence of numbers from your note. Plot out the pattern of their matching triangles, in order:
Short, long, short, long, long, short.
But what could that mean?
Where have you seen a clue about long and short triangles?
On the window blinds! Go take another look.
Second View: Window Wall
Sure enough, there it is in plain sight:
(SHORT TRIANGLE) = R
(LONG TRIANGLE) = L
Just what you needed!
Translate your pattern using that clue, and you get:
R, L, R, L, L, R.
Where could you use a sequence like that?
On the Right-Left puzzle, of course! Off to it!
Fourth View: Double Doors
If you have a feeling that you're almost out of here, you're right. Speaking of which:
Click on the shelf to your right (get it? :P) and zoom in on the R-L puzzle.
Input the code:
R, L, R, L, L, R
by pressing the buttons in that order.
(The buttons are a little touchy, and may not look/sound like they've pressed down when you click them. They should still count the button press, though. But if you have trouble, try entering your same solution a few times. It's more likely a minor case of touchy controls than you being wrong.)
Open the box to get... nothing?
Nothing you can take, anyway. You may be a petty vandal, but you're not a diamond thief. (Not in this game, anyway.) But there is something you can look at:
Three pretty diamond rings, plus the word "RING."
All right, that's starting to sound a little familiar. Just a little bit.
Not that you've seen the word "RING" before...
But you've seen a few similar words, haven't you?
Words like:
"KING," under the single chess piece.
And:
"WING," in the box with the picture of two wings.
And now it's "RING" and three rings? (No, not to rule them all. They're just rings. And I'm just a pop culture nerd. Be thankful I haven't mentioned Katniss... darn. There goes my record.)
All right, those three words all sound a lot alike. In fact...
They all end with "ING."
Where have you seen that before?
Ah, yes! The clue you found on the back of the window blinds, you sneaky sleuthing ninja!
"-ING," to be exact.
What would you get if you combine that clue with your three words?
Well, if you take away "ING" from each, you're left with just their first letters:
RING - ING = R, WING - ING = W, KING - ING = K.
So you're left with: R, W, and K.
Where could you use those?
The 3-letter puzzle! Yay!
Hurry, go and look at the coded lock on that left-hand shelf.
Put in your letters -
Wait a minute, what order do they go in?
There seem to be two clues to this one, and they both add up to the same thing.
You could do what I originally did:
Enter the letters in the order in which you first found their words.
Or:
My way works, but there's a more elegant clue. Kudos @ trewerty and stuckinabasement for noticing this one when I had missed the obvious:
There's 1 King, 2 Wings, and 3 Rings. Just put the letters in that order.
Either way, you get:
K, W, R
Enter the code in the lock, then click the white rectangular button underneath to open the cabinet. Such a pretty teal cabinet, too! (You can afford to be sentimental about it, now that you're about to leave.) And inside, you'll find:
A key! It fits in the last slot in your inventory, too! I'll bet you know what that means:
It's time to escape!
Take one last look around this pretty, pretty place if you want to, then use your new key in the double doors to unlock them.

@ SHA - To each their own! As I said, I based the format of this walkthrough on the styles of those I personally like best. For me, walkthroughs with few spoiler tags are frustrating and difficult to use. I often find myself seeing much more of the solutions than I wanted to.
So, since I was writing this one myself, I did the same thing I do when I write creative fiction: I wrote it to my own liking, then posted it for the benefit of anyone who shares my tastes.
I don't mean this in a sarcastic way, but some of the games on here do have two separate walkthroughs on them. If you were to write and post one in a style you prefer, that would give other players the choice between two very different walkthroughs. :)

Where have you seen a clue about long and short triangles?
On the window blinds! Go take another look.

Sure enough, there it is in plain sight:
(SHORT TRIANGLE) = R
(LONG TRIANGLE) = L
Just what you needed!
Translate your pattern using that clue, and you get:
R, L, R, L, L, R.
Where could you use a sequence like that?
On the Right-Left puzzle, of course! Off to it!
Fourth View: Double Doors
If you have a feeling that you're almost out of here, you're right. Speaking of which:
Click on the shelf to your right (get it? :P) and zoom in on the R-L puzzle.
Input the code:
R, L, R, L, L, R
by pressing the buttons in that order.
(The buttons are a little touchy, and may not look/sound like they've pressed down when you click them. They should still count the button press, though. But if you have trouble, try entering your same solution a few times. It's more likely a minor case of touchy controls than you being wrong.)
Open the box to get... nothing?
Nothing you can take, anyway. You may be a petty vandal, but you're not a diamond thief. (Not in this game, anyway.) But there is something you can look at:
Three pretty diamond rings, plus the word "RING."
All right, that's starting to sound a little familiar. Just a little bit.
Not that you've seen the word "RING" before...
But you've seen a few similar words, haven't you?
Words like:
"KING," under the single chess piece.
And:
"WING," in the box with the picture of two wings.
And now it's "RING" and three rings? (No, not to rule them all. They're just rings. And I'm just a pop culture nerd. Be thankful I haven't mentioned Katniss... darn. There goes my record.)
All right, those three words all sound a lot alike. In fact...
They all end with "ING."
Where have you seen that before?
Ah, yes! The clue you found on the back of the window blinds, you sneaky sleuthing ninja!
"-ING," to be exact.
What would you get if you combine that clue with your three words?
Well, if you take away "ING" from each, you're left with just their first letters:
RING - ING = R, WING - ING = W, KING - ING = K.
So you're left with: R, W, and K.
Where could you use those?
The 3-letter puzzle! Yay!
Hurry, go and look at the coded lock on that left-hand shelf.
Put in your letters -
Wait a minute, what order do they go in?
There seem to be two clues to this one, and they both add up to the same thing.
You could do what I originally did:
Enter the letters in the order in which you first found their words.
Or:
My way works, but there's a more elegant clue. Kudos @ trewerty and stuckinabasement for noticing this one when I had missed the obvious:
There's 1 King, 2 Wings, and 3 Rings. Just put the letters in that order.
Either way, you get:
K, W, R
Enter the code in the lock, then click the white rectangular button underneath to open the cabinet. Such a pretty teal cabinet, too! (You can afford to be sentimental about it, now that you're about to leave.) And inside, you'll find:
A key! It fits in the last slot in your inventory, too! I'll bet you know what that means:
It's time to escape!
Take one last look around this pretty, pretty place if you want to, then use your new key in the double doors to unlock them.
