Vitamin Hana serves up an escape with amenities in Terrace View, and continues their tradition of making cute, simple-seeming games that offer more than meets the eye. There isn't much around you... a locked door, a painting, a TV, and a few pieces of furniture that are all locked up tight with various coded puzzles. There's no changing cursor to help you see what you can interact with, but there's also not really any pixel hunting to make that a problem... just a whole bunch of cryptic clues for a room with enough puzzle locks to belong in an early Resident Evil game. It won't take you long to play, but it also doesn't feel like it's too short either, the proverbial juuuuuust right with a few puzzles that'll kick your brain into gear and require you to connect the dots without going overboard on difficulty. Sometimes you want something heavy and perplexing, and sometimes you want something light, fun, and clever, and Terrace View fits the latter perfectly well.

So with the letter puzzle,
I figured it out because I live on that river and it's the first word kids around here learn to spell, because of it's easy-to-memorize rhythm, but there is nothing else in the room to indicate //why that word would be the answer. I got it by luck, but am I missing something? That seems unnecessarily cryptic.
Also
I unscrewed the panda picture and the red slip of paper slipped out and fell on top of the cabinet, but I can't pick it up or read it. Is there some reason for this? POP fingers crossed.
Dora:
Drawer? I only see two walls; one with a door and one with a tv, and an exterior balcony. No drawers anywhere. I think I'm solving puzzles out of order, or missing a whole set of scenes. Also I am exposing my weak escape chops.
Sorry,
take "drawer" to mean "one of the locked cabinets". :) You are definitely solving things randomly if you solved the word lock without finding the picture, which is behind one of the locked cabinets and reads "MISSISSIPPI" beneath a boat.
I have the...
...scissors and the clue from the TV...
...but can't figure out what to do next.
You can use the clue from the tv with the picture to open the door. After that I'm pretty much as stuck as you. I have a hook, scissors, and now the screw driver, but I can't seem to figure out any other hints. Did you get the cell phone?
The hook is used on the floor. You need two screwdrivers before they're useful.
Yes, I have the phone as it is the clue for the first aid box where the scissors came from. I have tried applying the TV clue to the panda picture but nothing is working. Any other hints?
Nevermind, I see what you mean. I didn't realize the screw heads were tied to that door puzzle. I was looking past it because I assumed it was the escape door so would come last. :)
Not entirely true. The Phillips head screwdriver lets you obtain a clue by itself.
what do you have that you can hang on a hook?
Had to restart the game a couple of times but figured out
you must read the read note after removing the Phillips screws and before removing the flathead screws. Otherwise it is unclickable
Hope this helps
and out
things can be solved at random making other things unclickable and the puzzles unsolvable. Try not to brute force it.
You'll need
the clue from the red note. Just dial it into the phone. This will help you get a couple of clues
hope this helps
Finally out! Some interesting things to note:
If you have trouble with the screw coming out of the floor
click the floorboard instead of the screw
Also, the wood
For no reason at all, you can pull one piece of wood out of the stack before you combine the stack with something else!
Screwdriver
You can find the flathead screwdriver before the phillips and it won't change how the game plays... the flathead will just be useless until it's needed.
That piece of wood you can pull out can be used to
get the yellow slip of paper on the security camera (well, on whatever's attaching it to the wall, I guess). That has three symbols on it that tell you the order for the black shapes (hat, leaf, etc.).
The thing that I got stuck on until I looked at the comments on a certain other website dedicated to escape games...
You can take the hook and put it in that dark little dot on the floor, then click on that plank of wood to find
a mirror, which can then be used on the hook back in its original place
Then later on,
use the scissors to cut the rope.
What could you make from rope and wood, that might be useful when trying to escape from balconies?
The number code with the *
is used for the grey/red 2 button code. Even though you would think it would make sense for the code to follow the button colours from 1-9 or something.
cant figure out the grey/red buttons
it would seem that you multiple the code 598*734 and get 438932 which translates as: RGRGGR but that doesnt work.
help?
Have you considered
you're not looking at a multiplication sign? ;) Look at the phone more closely.
Terrace View Walkthrough
Start off by taking the phone next to the TV.
Turn the TV on. The picture displayed is the clue to opening the door to the terrace.
Go to the other room and click on the picture of a panda. Notice how the screws are positioned.
According to the picture from the TV, the code for the locked door is: +, -, -, +, +, -, +.
Go to the terrace and grab the hook on the wall to the left.
Go back to the TV room.
Notice that there is a small hole in one of the planks in the floor. Use the hook on it and take the mirror and the hook back.
Go to the terrace again.
Put the hook to its original place and use the mirror on it.
In the mirror you’ll see the number for the locker below the panda picture.
Open the locker and grab the screwdriver.
Use it on the bottom screws of the picture.
Use the phone to call the number on the small paper.
Enter the given number below the camera on the terrace.
The new picture displayed on the TV shows a number. Each number represents a different color.
Use this clue to open the bottom locker in the same room.
Separate the sticks by clicking on them.
Go to the terrace and use the single stick on the yellow note on the camera. This clue represents the sequence of the 3 symbols.
Go back inside and click on the med kit.
Use the numbers on the phone to open it.
Go to the TV room and click on the top locker. Enter the combination to open it.
Grab the pliers and use them to open the middle locker.
You’ll find a picture with the word “MISSISSIPPI” on it.
Go to the room that leads to the balcony and click on the bottom locker. Spell the word Mississippi to open it and grab the screw driver.
Unscrew the panda picture and grab the rope behind it.
Now click on the rope and then on “About Item”. Click again on the rope to separate it and use the sticks to make a ladder.
Go out to the balcony and use the ladder to climb down.
