Kimberlykimberly_unfreeze_me.pngGames often play on our innate desire to protect, help, or save adorable things. Face it: Where would Sushi Cat or all of Dora's ponies be without your help? So it's no surprise that Unfreeze me! features adorable little birds. In this physics puzzler, it's your job to save the birds from a lifetime of being stuck frozen in an ice cube.

Use your mouse to shoot your water cannon, and also to move and rotate boards and other objects to help you get the water to the goal. Once the presumably hot water hits the ice cube, it slowly melts away, freeing the bird. There are also vases placed around many of the levels. If you can fill them up, it's bonus points for you! The ability to place and rotate items sets Unfreeze Me! apart from similar titles. There are water accelerators, and colored sponges that all need to be figured out. And while the water physics may feel a bit wonky at times, there's still plenty to fun to be had. So go ahead and save your adorable thing for the day. You'll feel all the better for it when you're through.

Unfreeze Me Walkthrough!

Levels One Through Ten

Level One

  1. If you're aiming to get the full three stars it's important to be frugal with your water use. Swiftness is great, but so is conserving water.

Level Two

  1. Tutorial.

Level Three

  1. Tutorial. Simply spray water.

Level Four

  1. Tutorial. Move the plank and accelerator egg to the outline positions.

Level Five

  1. Move the jet to the right in order to get the vase. The water will hit the rock and move both left and right. This will have the vase fill and chick be freed concurrently.

  2. Move jet to the left and have the water stream hit the crystals to break them down. Continue the stream when they are gone for the water will hit the roof and go right towards the remaining ice block.

  3. Screenshot

Level Six

  1. Click on each plank individually to move them. A grey/white circle will surround it when you click on it. This allows you to rotate the angle of the plank, which you will need to do in order to get the water to go where you want it to.

  2. To get all vases start by shooting the water cannon at the bottom vase until it's full. Then move it to the top to shoot the top vase.

  3. You want to move the planks so they are angled to let the water stream flow into the space where the ice block is.

  4. Screenshot

Level Seven

  1. For this level all you have to do is shoot upward. You can hit the vase first then hit the crystal.

Level Eight

Level Nine

Level Ten

  1. In order to get all the vases, after getting the water color to change focus fire on the blocks. The warp spot will transport the water to the uppermost level. Once you have uncovered both ice blocks and filled the vase, melt down the ice block in the area where all the green squares were.

  2. Pick up the board and bring it down to the bottom cannon and rotate it so it will send the water stream towards the ice block.

  3. Screenshot

Levels Eleven through Twenty

Level Eleven

  1. Shoot the vase on the top level first.

  2. Shoot the vase on the bottom level second.

  3. Focus on the middle level to get the third and fourth vase.

Level Twelve

  1. In order to get both vases you will want to wait to place the accelerator in the area that will push the water to melt the ice block.

  2. Screenshot

Level Thirteen

Level Fourteen

  1. All you have to do is shoot the bottom jet until both ice blocks melt down.

Level Fifteen

Level Sixteen

  1. In order to get the vase near the ice block you will have to move the board so it doesn't allow water to melt the ice. Once the vase is filled you can return the plank in order to finish the level.

  2. Screenshot

Level Seventeen

  1. Aim through the middle row of red coloring and melt the red block(s). Move down to get the bottom vases, then move the cannon up to get the top vase. While getting them you will hit the green dye area. All you have to do after this is watch where your water stream is going and press lightly instead of holding down consistently in order to avoid melting the ice block.

  2. Screenshot

Level Eighteen

  1. Start with filling up the vase on the top area where all the colored blocks are.

  2. Click once very lightly on the bottom water cannon so it shoots up at the green dye.

  3. Use the top water cannon to eradicate the green block.

  4. Move the cannon to the left very slightly so it gets the red dye. Use the top cannon to get rid of the red block.

  5. Move the cannon once more to the left to get the green dye. Use the top cannon to get rid of the green block. You can also now fill the vase on the far left.

  6. Move the cannon to the red block that's just to the left of the remaining vase. Be very careful and only shoot a tiny bit. Shoot the top cannon until the red block has been melted down enough to allow room for water to pass through, but not enough to melt the ice block.

  7. Finish filling the last vase, then go ahead and melt the ice block.

  8. Screenshot

Level Nineteen

  1. The golden circles collect water to them. You will use them to prevent the water from streaming past objects, and instead the water collects around the circles and can drop down. Using these also allows for easy filling of vases.

  2. Screenshot

Level Twenty

  1. Shoot at the ice blocks.

This reminds me a lot of "Where's My Water", though it's not quite as fun. Still, it's a good way to spend a few minutes!
