Get up, get up, you sleepy heads. It's time, it's time, to get out of bed! Not because, like, you need to be productive members of society or anything. But rather... the game is afoot! Several, in fact! Vitamin Hana plies you with toy trains to keep you captive. Detarame Factory offers rodents and sweet treats. And Primera, well, they just need you to watch their cat and fix their laptop.
Gadget - I'm not going to sugar coat it... I have relatives who would be trapped forever by an escape game that made use of a laptop, judging by some of the phone calls asking for help I've received, and that makes Primera extra fiendish. But don't fret... you don't need to be an interwebz whiz to solve this one. In the beginning, all you've got is a single screen, but poke around a little and you'll realize you need to be a little crafty and a lot observant if you want to escape.
Choo! Choo! Train! - Something about Vitamin Hana's short, sweet, and colourful little escape games has always made me think they would be great for helping to train the next generation of great escapers, and the toy train you'll be working with here about clinches it. As you poke around the little room cracking codes and solving puzzles, you may find this one is a little more challenging than some of Vitamin Hana's other games, though still pleasantly bite-sized for the busy escaper on the go.
Sweet Potato Party! - Speaking of escape games as a means to indoctrinate youngsters, take care when you click on the menu of this game by Detarame Factory, because it's actually two games, and one is vastly simpler and easier than the other! The top title leads you to a field where a... squirrel?... is being rained on by... Pocky? Hmmm. Use the arrows at the top corners of the screen to move around. If your like your escape games both really weird and really cute, this is the one for you.

Sweet Potato Party is ridiculously cute! And mostly really easy, which makes me embarrassed to say I'm stuck on the last (I think) puzzle. I don't know the
acorn code on the tree, which I assume is connected to the ladybugs on the flowers one screen over. I've tried various combinations based on the directions the ladybugs are facing,
but that doesn't seem to be the right approach.
Foiled by a squirrel!
@Billy-O
I was confused by the same thing for awhile but then tried this:
Try pointing the base of the acorns in the direction of where each ladybug is sitting on each flower instead of the way each is facing.
Choo! Choo! Train! is the one I got stuck on for a bit until it dawned on me:
Each train segment has TWO wheels.
That was it! Thanks, ShadyFox.
Ran into a bug, I think, in Choo!when I
inserted a single battery into something that needed 2, then couldn't get it out for a thing that needed 1
.
Reloading and redoing fixed it.
My my, those trains certainly have a lust for destruction.
I confess, if I type the letter "j" into the address bar, Jayisgames pops up immediately ... and I often log on after midnight on Tuesday, hoping that the Weekday Escape might be posted (it's technically Wednesday, right?) ... pretty sad but no time to post more; there are Escape Games to be played!
Hah, I didn't realize what the "sweet potato" even was! thought the goal was to throw 5 leaves into the fire ... very adorable game!!
I'm stuck in Gadget I have the
instructions to take a picture of the wall photo and the cat but when I try and use the camera I can't seem to make it work.
.
Never mind, sorry, I got it.
