Can you imagine? There are some people who are able to get up and function through the rest of their week without a fresh infusion of free online escape games to get them through Wednesday. What weirdos! For all us sane folk who know puzzles are the way to go for Hump Day, Weekday Escape has arrived, and with three developers riding merrily with it. Vitamin Hana's cats have been trapped again, and before you can be freed, you need to free them. Esklavos has a bunch of presents you need to gather before you can lay a finger aside of your nose. And Twinkle celebrates Christmas with all the right decorations and a few puzzles sprinkled in to make them shine.
X'mas Night 15 - If you like to celebrate the season with a healthy dose of cuteness, then Twinkle definitely has you covered, with snowmen that don't melt, presents piled high, and of course, a Christmas tree. Make sure to use the little Santa hat icons in the upper left and right corners of the screen to move around the room, and leave no stone (or, rather, poinsettia) unturned. I can think of a lot worse places to be trapped in for the holidays, but even if you're dying to get out, this one will still provide a nice, sweet, short escape.
Magic Christmas Escape 4 - Say you want your holiday-themed escape a little less traditionally twee. Esklavos serves up something with literal magic, as you find yourself in a serene field, complete with fairy, and a need to find all ten presents before you can escape... up the chimney of a nearby cottage? Hmmm, I say, hm hm hm! You'll also indulge in classic Christmas activities such as finding a missing wedding ring for an irresponsible gnome, the traditional posing of the vaguely unsettling patchwork doll, and more!
Free the Cats 2 - I don't know who keeps locking up Vitamin Hana's pets. Especially cats. Cats should be free to receive your affection with disinterest and push things off tables as nature intended! But they're trapped in carriers here, behind this strangely menacing concrete wall, so you'll need to bust them out before you can escape yourself. It should be quick work to do so, and if you get stuck upon freeing a furball or two, remember to have another look around the area... who knows what those cats are getting up to while you're working!
We love escape games, and our readers love talking about them and sharing hints! How about you? Let us know what you think, ask for clues, or help out other players in the comments below.

X'mas Night 15 Walkthrough
Wobbly UFO picture
(I have no earthly idea what this picture is supposed to represent, other than probably not a UFO, but that's what I'm calling it.)
Clue:
Poinsettias
Note the direction the green leaves are pointing.
TL, BL, TL, TR, BR, TL
Click the corners of the painting in that sequence.
Get:
Party popper
Pull the black string to get an orange key and some pastel-colored confetti.
Top door (key)
To open:
You need the key from the party popper.
Get:
Green bell
Single door (left-right)
Clue:
Snowmen
Specifically, their mittens.
red, green, red, green, green, green = RLRLLL
Get:
Blue bell
Bottom door (3 digits)
Clue:
There are two pixel hunts in this game, and both involve this puzzle. There's also one item in plain sight that you'll need.
Pixel hunt 1:
Click between the left wall and the two-door cabinet to see a pictogram explaining a calculation.
Tree plus house minus popper
Pixel hunt 2:
Click between the right wall and the single-door cabinet (the one with the left-right buttons). Get the crowbar.
There's only one place you can use the crowbar: the barred-up window. (In real life, the minute you found a crowbar, you'd use it to pry open the door, but this isn't real life.)
Plain sight:
Get the star from the top of the two-door cabinet.
Combining:
Hint: you need 9 separate numbers.
At each location, count the number of ornaments (balls) of each color.
Tree: put the star on top to get 4 pink, 3 blue, 3 yellow.
House: After prying off the bars on the window, you'll see a house with 5 pink, 2 blue, and 4 yellow balls.
Popper: (use "about item") 3 pink, 2 blue, 4 yellow.
Do the math individually for each color.
Pink: 4 + 5 - 3 = 6
Blue: 3 + 2 - 2 = 3
Yellow: 3 + 4 - 4 = 3
Note the wreaths on the wall behind the cabinets to get the correct order.
Pink, yellow, blue = 633
Get:
Pink bell
Getting out
You'll need all three bells.
Clue:
The presents
Blue, green, pink (which just so happens to be the order of the bells in your inventory).

Free the Cats 2 Walkthrough
Toolbox (4-color circle)
Clue: the colored stripes on top of the door.
Yellow, red, blue, green, red, blue, yellow.
Colorblind:
bottom right, top left, bottom left, top right, top left, bottom left, bottom right.
Get: slotted screwdriver
1st kitty (near the small crack in the wall)
Need: slotted screwdriver.
Get: red key
Top drawer (key)
(C'mon, this should be obvious.)
Get: nail clippers, matchbox
2nd kitty (near toolbox)
Need: 3-digit code
Use the nail clippers on the first kitty, then take a couple of turns around the place, until she finishes scratching up the side of the cabinet.
257
After freeing the kitty, use the slotted screwdriver to unfasten the crate from the wall.
Get: hammer
Right door (3x3 grid)
Use the hammer on the crack in the wall to get a tic-tac-toe grid.
Click the grid on the door to match the tic-tac-toe grid.
Get: Phillips screwdriver.
3rd kitty (near the door)
Need: Phillips screwdriver.
Get: big red button. Naturally, it's missing its batteries. But what's this?
Get a paper with a clue from the battery compartment of the big red button.
Left door (3 vertical letters)
Combine the clue from the big red button with the clue you used to open the right door.
If you cross out the parts of the picture where there are red X's, then combine the remaining symbols, what do you get?
First row, you're left with a C and a backwards C. Combined, that gives you an O. Second row, you have the two halves of an H. Third row, you cross out everything except the L.
Get: a stick of dynamite.
Getting out
Put the dynamite at the base of the wall near where the crack was (and the tic-tac-toe grid is now). Light it with the matches. Wait.
Well, that wasn't nearly as spectacular as expected. Whatever, get the batteries.
Put the batteries into the big red button. Press the button to open the door.
