I keep telling myself that one day, I'm going to make an escape game of my own for you guys to show you how much I love you. And it's going to have amazing puzzles. And augmented reality. And a unique soundtrack. And consultation by Idris Elba, because Idris Elba. And then I remember that I wore my Cthulhu slippers to get the mail today because my sandals were on the other side of the room and thus "too far" away, and I figure that sort of motivation is a long way off. But on this edition of Weekday Escape, you've got some feline freedom to attend to from Vitamin Hana, the world's most complex cobbler's house from MayMay, and a makeup routine from Funkyland that would probably be a lot simpler if you stopped hiding things all over the place and just invested in a makeup bag like the rest of us. So it's all good!
Free the Cats - There are two types of people who like animals in this world. People who like to adopt animals, and people who say, in all feverish, maniacal seriousness, "One day, when I win the lottery, I'm going to buy an entire city just for all the homeless animals to live in and staff it with people to cater to their every whim." So this escape game by the always cute Vitamin Hana is for you, you crazy diamonds, since it's not about you... it's about solving a bunch of puzzles to help some caged kitties get out into freedom.
Shoe Repair - I'm beginning to think MayMay isn't actually an escape game developer... they just keep kidnapping us and forcing us to do their laundry or repair their clothing, like some sort of extremely lazy Saw franchise villain knock-off. Case in point: you've got to repair a broken shoe here, as the title implies, and process that naturally, as any cobbler will tell you, involves math, coded locks, and modern art. Look, I'm not telling you how to run your business, I'm just saying maybe you could lower your prices if you didn't pack your home full of weird locks and mechanisms. They have elves for that. Don't you read fairytales?
Girls Room Escape 10: False Eyelashes - Alright, maybe I'm not the best lady to come to for makeup advice. You should have heard the unholy screech I made when I somehow tried to blind myself putting on my eyeliner the other day. But I asked a good friend for whom a night out is typically accompanied by an entire personal suitcase of frilly preparations, and she assured me that your makeup routine typically goes faster if you don't have to find five false eyelashes hidden around the room behind complex locks and puzzles. But maybe Funkyland knows something that we don't... ?

Got stuck in Shoe Repair until I realized something:
After you attach the zipper to the shoe
The thread hanging off the needle thing looks a little different
Maybe it's trying to say the shoe is good as new?
It spells the word NEW, which is the password for the front gate
In Free the Cats, if you're as stuck as I was at the dice puzzle,
after you have found the key and drained the pond, look carefully at the dots at the bottom of the pond.
Thanks, MuteVampire. I was stuck there, too.
I had tried AWL and ZIP and couldn't think of anything else.
In Shoe Repair, the fence clue
isn't stick by stick,
it's all the sticks together.
There's nothing to count.
Just squint to see the numbers.
In case you're me and having the same issue with the half-sphere code in Fake Eyelashes, it has nothing to do with the fact that you can click the ones in the mirror to change their color. That may be a programing error.
just read the window code from top to bottom and apply it left to right.
YAY DORA! You are the best reviewer on JIG, bar none.
So I'm finally settling in for some post-Wednesday escape fun ... these all look great, and thanks to everyone for the hints!
