One Button Arthur
If you have played One Button Bob before, this requires no more explanation. It's the same, with just more challenges thrown in. Your single-finger-fu will be tested to the brink of your reflexes... and even if it isn't, the real goal is to complete the game in as few clicks as possible.
To the uninitiated, the 'One Button' games (as well as Nano Ninja) are broken into several screens, each with a different challenge. These may involve dodging falling rocks, avoiding flame throwers, hitting a sequence of switches, solving a slide puzzle and so on. But you only ever control the main character with a single click of your mouse. Sometimes you hold the button in to make Arthur stand still. Sometimes you hold it in to make him jump further. Sometimes it's to slash with his sword and sometimes it's simply to change direction. You'll need to experiment to figure out how to get by each unique screen, and be patient, since a single hit knocks Arthur right back to the start of the screen.
One Button Arthur is the kind of game that should take you around ten seconds to figure out. Ten seconds and a few dozen clicks in my case, but I was never a fast learner. There's not much else to say, except to note that the boss at the end is considerably less frustrating than either One Button Bob or Nano Ninja. So, let the click-score-bragging in the comments commence!
Thanks to Charlie for sending this one in!
Someone play through multiple times so I don't have to figure out for myself if you get a different ending based on your click count. I'm not telling you my click count, 'cause it wasn't good, so nyah.
I found it more enjoyable than One Button Bob, probably because there were a few puzzle elements to it. As far as the click-score-bragging...381! Hmmm...
283, no new ending with a couple of deaths so I could've saved 10 or so clicks
i still cant get any further than the armorgames splash. it just goes to a black screen on 2 different pcs :(
This game will load but after that, its just a black screen.
Help please?
*makes puppy eyes* pweeeaasssee?
Probably your browser, try in IE...
387 and link still beat me.
Did anyone else think this game's boss was MUCH easier than One Click Bob's boss? :P
Im getting the same as Blinky
FF 3.6.8, Flash 10 r45
I cant play the game. I click on it and it just goes to a black screen. It doesn't work for me.
Updated flash and it now works
For those having issues getting the game to load: please update your Flash Player and disable your browser extensions.
The boss was way to easy....and the first button holding jumping was the hardest.
The hold-n-jump levels absolutely murdered me. :(
Pretty good concept and well executed but some more variety in the types of challenge rather than the same few looped many times would have made it better
1016, I think. That's more than twice as good as the next highest score so far!
Nice ending, and yes, I thought the boss was much easier, which I liked. In the end I couldn't beat Bob's final boss, whereas here I could just play the boss by ear -- it was a lot easier to avoid dying.
These games are brilliant.
Using ff, flash player is updated, still can't get the game to work after the armorgames intro. help? ):
I can't play after intro, epic fail of game going off others' comments. My flash player is up-to-date as well.
Hehehe. I beat the game with 666 clicks.
For who is having problems to run the game.You have to update your flash player to 10.1
same black screen problem here, after trying in IE got following error messages
1:
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.
at oba_fla::MainTimeline/frame32()
at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndPlay()
at oba_fla::MainTimeline/onContinueClick()
2:
TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
at oba_fla::MainTimeline/frame250()
anybody know how to get this to the developer?
i got some brilliant free icons when i completed one button bob not when i finished arthur. it's a shame the bob ones were great and used them as my twitter profile pictures.
I agree with Wildbreeze: the hold-&-jumps were the worst.
