Call Me Young Kaleido
Welcome to the trichromatic puzzle world of Theihe's Color Me Young Kaleido. You will discover steps, portals, and any number of traps out to get you. Your main ability is changing the color of the backdrop, causing elements good and bad to fade into the background. Your objective is to navigate to the box-like element and complete each level, progressing to the next. The game uses standard platform mechanics, with [WASD] or arrow keys to move around. Number keys (1, 2, 3) change the background color but be careful not to morph straight into a hazard! In some of the later levels, it is possible to irreparably mess up, which is where a quick reset [R] comes in handy.
Unlike many platformers, Call Me Young Kaleido offers the interesting feature of free level select. In other words, you can complete levels in any order you wish, skipping over some levels if they are too easy, or bypassing one if you get stuck to ease frustration. And while you work through the levels in your own free-spirited way, there's a chirpy soundtrack reminiscent of orchestral Christmas music to keep you entertained. Enjoy!
I was wondering how to get into the game. Clicking on one of the flags didn't do anything.
When the flags show, the game has already started, so the arrow keys and the ENTER key are needed to get to the next step.
Great game! So far (up to level 32) I have only found one or two places where I found it a bit difficult to execute the moves I needed. Some fun puzzles so far.
Hello Arceus!
I'd like to thank you for the kind shoutout! :)
The game is now completed with a total of 62 levels.
I love the way you percieve the game and the description is really well-written!
