Mouse Mailer
With an aim to get everyone online and sending email with the click of a mouse, the British Computer Society has commissioned this cute, Flash action puzzler called Mouse Mailer, starring PC Mouse. (Apparently they don't care much about Mac users ;)
The objective of the game is to get PC Mouse's email past all the obstacles of cyberspace along the information superhighway. Bits of your mail will get lost if it hits an obstacle, so try to keep it all intact.
Most everything that needs your attention is highlighted in green. Click on levers to open doors, and on platforms to slide them into place. Click on a virus to kill it before it corrupts your mail. Timing is everything.
Of course the lesson to be learned from all this is that when sending email through the Internet, little mice in plastic balls risk their lives to get your message safely to its destination.
It all adds up to a charming little game, good fun for about a 10 minute diversion.
A nibble of cheese to Anne for the link. =)
wow...That was cool
yeah that was wick, u need more games like this jay!!!!!!!!!!!
that was....odd?
dead link
Link worked for me. Seems like the perfect game for this site, casual. Two levels, no hassle, cute, clean, fun. Thanks.
Maybe PC is short for "Politcally Correct" in this case. ;)
with an "aim"... no pun intended... haha.
anyways, us mac users are ALWAYS getting left out, i'm kind of used to it by now. but it's not always such a bad thing, and you know why if you've seen the apple commercials.
we have 6 working macs in my family/household right now, and there's only four of us. that certainly says something! i <3 macs!
sorry for this long digressed post, i know it has nothing to do with the game, but still.
Actually, I think the PC refers to the little mouses uniform. He seems to be a Police Constable, or, in british slang, a PC.
Or, having posted that, I realize it could just mean Postal Carrier. Oops.
Hahaha, you're right, Allegra, there was no pun intended. =D
And for what it's worth, I absolutely adore my Mac Powerbook, and I love those commercials, too.
I hope to soon get a MacBook—if only they would come out with a small (13") Pro version soon. (crosses fingers)
Koala - of course! Postal Carrier, that surely must be it, and yet I am certain they wanted the play on words with it being a PC computer (mouse). Good call.
Fun fun game! Also, I got a highscore on the easy version, 12th place!
I thought that the game was really clever. Too bad it was only 2 levels.
PC = "Personal Computer". Doesn't your Mac fit that description?
that was .... fun
Just some background to the PC Mouse game, which we made for the British Computer Society ;)
PC stands for 'Police Constable' in the UK, obviously the character is a play on the PC acronym as well. Trust me there's no platform politics here - made on Macs, tested on Windows, served off BSD Unix...
Thanks for the nice comments BTW, glad people enjoyed the game. For more of our games head over to www.rubberrepublic.com or www.rubbershorts.com
cheers,

Cheers, Andy! =)
Nice job on the cute game. And I was kidding about the PC-bias. ;)
That was fun. :)
hmm, was there any difference between the normal and the easy modes?
Aw, so cute. Unfortunately, the "Easy" mode was almost impossible with a touch pad, so I'm not even going to try Normal mode! :(
every computer is a pc isnt a mac a personal computer? i refer to it as mac and windows
and if it was a mac mouse his email would get there faster and it wouldnt get viruses. but then, this game wouldnt exist! so it should be a pc mouse.
