One More Line

Also free for iOS and Android, One More Line by SMG Studio is an addictive and challenging yet deceptively simple arcade game where the goal is to last as long as possible as you rocket down an endless corridor without crashing into the walls or the connector nodes. Click and hold to make your flinging... thingy... shoot out a line and latch onto the nearest node, which will cause you to swing around it in a circle until you let go and fly in whatever direction you were heading. Latching on to a node from farther away makes you swing in a big, wide circle, while grappling on closer yields tiny, tight, fast circles. While attached to a node you can pass through walls, but not other nodes! With its snappy soundtrack and vibrant colours, One More Line is easy on the eyes in addition to being lean and mean... just don't play it if you plan on relaxing.

Gee, this is not my game... I suck at it big time...

Maybe that's why it doesn't thrill me too much :(

Me too! My best is 15. I think the problem is that you can't really see far enough ahead to plan anything...it's mostly just luck. At least it sure seems that way.

I FINALLY HIT 100 WHOOOO!!!

It was brutal at first but eventually I sort of got used to the weird grappling system. I love the resulting multi-coloured streaks and loops. Oh if anyone is overwhelmed the devs have put out a video with some gameplay tips.

Surprisingly addicting yet frustratingly annoying! I found my self repeatedly trying to beat my best score. Maxed out at 19; tried so hard for 20 but just couldn't do it.

Few games have really tried to make me better my own score, but I must admit this one really pushed me. Even after I hit 19 (a score which I thought was rather exemplary) I found myself continuing to try to get that mythical score of 20.

The addicting part is how fun it is. Even when you lose, you get that "well, that was just a bad deal" kind of reaction, so you try again.

The frustrating part is when you finally get close to your high score and you link on to a node about 5 pixels away and you spin at about 1500 RPMs, hoping that when you release the mouse button you'll shoot upwards and not into the wall. More often than not, though, you find yourself once again launching from the beginning in the hopes of getting at least one point higher than your highest score.

I like it.

Really needs a way to pick where you latch on. I've died so many times because it ignored the node right next to me and instead latched on to the very node I was trying to avoid.

I love the style, but it moves WAY too fast from the starting point. It needs more time for acceleration to learn how to steer. It's like getting into your car, sitting behind the wheel, and it immediately flying into 60 mph.
