The Telekinetic Incident

HopefulNebula A young woman. A shady research facility. A psychotic AI. Useful cubes. A lot of turrets that shoot lasers. While the basic formula of The Telekinetic Incident will be familiar to anyone who's played Portal, Matthew Fearrington has managed to take the basic recipe and come up with an original puzzle platform game that pays homage to the Portal series while presenting a unique set of challenges.

The Telekinetic IncidentIn the game, you play as a clone of Sarah Walker, and you've been given telekinetic abilities by Ifrit Incorporated. Navigating the laboratory is easy: use [WAD] to move and jump. Not only can you move objects around by clicking and dragging, but you can stop time in a small area around your cursor by right-clicking or holding [E], and create shields around yourself by holding [S]. Oh, and sometimes you have an ally, who you also have to get to an exit door. You can't control him... all you can do is keep him from getting killed.

What really makes the game challenging, however, is that Sarah's clone can make clones of herself, and these clones will continue doing whatever they were doing when Sarah returns to her own body. The existence of the cloning tubes means you can make stairways out of shields, hold cubes up in just the right place to redirect lasers, and do a whole bunch of other things that probably violate some law of spacetime or other. Can you uncover all the trophies and find the story behind Ifrit Incorporated? One thing is for sure, you can never have enough clones...

Stumped on level 10, first self-clone appearance.

The "Clone points down to generate forcefield then switch back to yourself" is next to impossible to do, consider making LESS keys have actions?

Regarding pointing down to make a force field with a clone: you can hit space while pushing down to leave the clone force fielding. If your keyboard doesn't support pushing down and space (or S and space) at the same time, I'm not sure what to say.

So I think I found a non-standard solution for level 18. I checked the walkthrough and I don't think they intended this at all.

The puzzle was:

You only get one clone, but there are two mutually-exclusive sets of lights you have to activate, and there's no way to move the clone without resetting the whole puzzle.

My "solution" was:

Crates "wobble" just a little when you're holding them. I set up a wobbly crate right between the two lights so that it would activate them both alternately, then spammed time-stops to get both doors most of the way open.

And, finally, the "intended" solution was:

Have the clone do a time-stop on the AIR BELOW WHERE YOU WANT TO PUT THE CRATE (?!). Then you can rearrange the crates later without having to reclaim the clone.

@Cornelius Baxter:

I don't think the time stop power counts as "lifting." I don't remember how I got that achievement, but try having the clone use telekinesis on one crate, then stack three boxes on top of it.

Has anyone figured out what "Rainbow Power" does? I've tries levels both with it on and with it off, but I can't spot the difference.

Like the game, but I'm getting horrendous slowdown now. Makes the game nigh unplayable on sensitive puzzles.

Solo, I'm also getting serious slowdown as well. I got around it for some levels by reloading the page, but level 23 seems impassible because the time freeze bubble just won't move fast enough to keep up with the stupid dude. :/

Yeah, Lvl 23 was frustrating. It took seeing the walkthrough to verify that is was possible for me to grind through. It's important to remember the distance of your cursor from the time-freeze bubble speeds it up, so swipe away quickly to keep the safe zone moving.

Also, I don't care that the devs named the protagonist Sarah: She's Amy from Futurama and no one can tell me differently.

Someone know what "wilhelm deaths" does ? they don't know in the armorgames comments too.
