Deep from within the bowels of the seriously twisted mind of Robin Allen comes this brand new Flash game simply titled Hapland. He claims that it is "more an interactive world of bizarity" than a game, yet there is indeed a 'win' condition and it has something to do with lighting both torches to open the stone portal and thus unleashing the power within. But it's damn hard to do.
The gameplay consists of clicking the mouse to trigger events within the world of Hapland. Events may require clicking things multiple times, and some events may involve precise timing. Little stick figures will react to your actions and sometimes be killed in the process—make that, will many times be killed in the process. If you're the least bit squeamish about violence against stick figures, you had better pass on this. The graphics, animation, and sound effects are all nicely done and serve to create a very compelling, and puzzling, experience.

Hapland Walkthrough
General info
This is relatively easy, but it requires precision. Please read each step before you perform it, and follow each step carefully.
Before you start, note these names representing the various stickman in play..
"Caveman" is the one trapped at the bottom.
"Leverman" is the one beside the cannon.
"Towerman" is the one beside the bell (which you'll see later)
If you mess up any step you will have to press the reset button (the 2 circular arrows in the bottom right corner of the game window) and try again.
OK, you may begin...
Walkthrough
Click the left window to open it.
Click the red arrow to make it point to the right.
Click the manhole to open it.
Click the yellow arrow. A stickman will pop out and take his place by the lever.
Click the Leverman. A rock will fire from the cannon and knock down the plank covering the chasm.
Click the cannon to change its angle, thus aiming it for at bell.
Click the Leverman. The white rock comes out of the cannon, hits the bell and lays to rest on the spear.
Click the cannon to change its angle back to horizontal.
This is tricky and requires precise timing...
Click the Leverman to fire the cannon again, only this time it will be a grenade. RIGHT AFTER doing so, click the bridge. If done correctly the exploding grenade will bounce off the bridge and explode harmlessly in mid-air.
Repeat the previous step for a 2nd grenade.
Now click the cannon once more, but this time let the projectile bounce around by itself. It will land inside the hole near the Caveman, who will pick it up and open the gate with it.
Click the Leverman again, and he will go inside the cannon.
Click the yellow arrow. Now you have a new Leverman.
Click the cannon to aim it up towards the bell.
Click the Leverman once more. RIGHT AFTER doing so, click the sharp edge of the spear to lower it slightly so the stickman IS NOT IMPALED. If done correctly you now have a Towerman.
Click the Towerman to move the bell tower to the right.
Click the bell 3 times, until it falls on the spear, which catapults the rock to the right and then lands on the mine blowing it up.
Click the door on the lower left. A man comes out, and he will go to the door on the right (beside the right window) and then turn on the light. The first torch will light on the portal.
This is the last part and it is tricky. PRECISE TIMING is needed so be careful...
Click the Caveman AND GET READY TO CLICK THE RIGHT WINDOW (BUT DON'T YET!). He will begin walking to the door on the right, which triggers the crate to open and a dog on a buzzsaw to fall to the ground. RIGHT AFTER the dog lands on the ground, click the right window to open it. If timed correctly, the stickman inside then closes the window triggering the rock to fall on the dog and kill it. The Caveman can then proceed to go inside the bottom door, which lights the 2nd torch and activates the portal. YAY!
