SpellPix From mobile puzzle maestro Kris Pixton, SpellPix is a new take on the path-drawing logic puzzle seen in games like HUEBRIX or Conceptis' Link-a-Pix. The idea is to connect the marked letters to an identically marked letter somewhere else on the grid. The path can snake around as much as it likes, but it has to be unbroken. In SpellPix, each grid square has a letter, so with every pair of letters you match up, you'll also spell a word.

Third Eye Crime: Act 1 It's difficult to pull off a noir atmosphere without getting pretentious. It's difficult to pull off a stealth game without resorting to tired tropes. Third Eye Crime manages to avoid both of those traps. The astonishingly stylish top-down puzzle/action game puts you in the speedy shoes of a criminal who can read minds. He uses his ability to tell where guards are about to search, staying quite literally one step ahead of trouble.

Mudlarks Just minutes after seeing your friend, Vincent, he vanishes. Was he claimed by the strange tides of The Thames or is something far more sinister going on? FRACT OSC FRACT first teased our eyes and ears back at the beginning of 2011. It's been a few years, but the full release is finally upon us in the form of FRACT OST, an abstract first person puzzle game steeped in mystery and musical riddles. It's the kind of game that rewards you for jotting down notes on a piece of paper, as you never know what odd shape/color combination might be used to solve a puzzle later on.

Biyori If you like your escape games with a side of strange sauce, Detarou's name is like ringing a dinner bell. Packed with puzzles, cryptic clues, and the usual menagerie of strange and inappropriate characters, Biyori will trick and freak you out.

GUI Game by Athletic Design is one of those point-and-click puzzle games that have you blitzing through a series of near-identical screens with a crafty puzzle to solve for each. However, here the Graphical User Interface is what poses the challenges, and you'll need every trick and option you can access to triumph. Perhaps it's a little too aware of it's own cleverness, but GUI Game is great game for shaking the cobwebs from the lateral thinking parts of the brain.
